You can check in the member menu if Discord detected DM spam, you can have a modmail for users so they can report DM from scamers to your moderation team, and for custom links sent in channels, you can use in app censorship and add links.

I pressed command + R by mistake on Discord like a month ago, this keyshort were supposed to refresh discord window but it got me stuck on a gray screen.

If you try to save a GIF as a banner that is near but not the maximum size of 10MB, it will give you an error and there is no way to save it. I had this same problem with another GIF 2 weeks ago but you could circumvent this issue simply by clicking "skip" when you're prompted to crop the banner. Now that this "skip" option has been replaced with a "reset" option there is no way to have a custom gif banner.

Not only are there potential security risks for doing this, but most places that have to store stuff like this, and aren't cloud storage providers (which Discord isn't), will optimize it using their own algorithmns (regardless of the potential to increase size). I'm not entirely sure if this is discord related, or mixer/hardware related. I can't seem to find the answer to my question online so i've come here to ask.

I've been having issues in voice channels. Very often, Other peoples voices will all of the sudden become very quiet. Usually happens during the first second or 2 of people going to speak. I've tried resetting my audio settings on discord, and looking into windows audio settings but i'm kinda stunted atm.

I have a cheap Fifine Sc3 mixer, using ATH M50x headphones and a rode pod mic plugged into my fifine mixer.

Also, I have a lot of my audio levels running through the Sonar GG application.

Any help or suggestions

Even tested my own latency in OBS singing to music to find that my voice seriously lags behind the music coming through the output. (random side note)

the issue you will run into is scope. different zoom levels, desktop vs Android vs iOS, where you view the profile from, etc. will all drastically change the width and make this impossible.

Ait, thanks! I'll give it a go: A friend and I are having an issue where our notifications will automatically be marked as read. We have not muted eachother or anything of the like. We'll hear the notification, but it will automatically be marked as read. This, in essence, means that if the recipient is offline, the message reaches the other but are still instantly marked as read and are easily missed. At the same time, mobile notifications don't reach us. This is only happening between us two, and I don't have this issue with anyone else

If you're using an old desktop it is okay to leave it on all the time. If you use Windows on it, you'll probably have to restart it occasionally, but you can also install Ubuntu Desktop or Ubuntu Server (or your own preferred linux flavor)

With an old laptop you'll wear out the battery leaving it plugged in and turned on, but if you don't care about that it's fine

There's no problem with using your existing laptop and just running the bot in the background as you do other things, but the bot is more likely to go down on a device you're actively using (restarts, moving the laptop around and disconnecting ethernet, etc).
