You may be able to change your email from within the application. And it does not appear, from the Discord support article, that it would require a password, or your old email. Only your new one. Then you could verify, with the new one. And then change the password. @tawdry rose

all right I tried joining an empty VC channel now none of the problems are surfacing

Just to document this bizarre trip:
0. Been using discord and VC prior, no issues with my bluetooth DAC

1. I join a VC, notice it mutes out all other audio
2. Test various suggestions on google(Attenuation, device settings etc), what works is changing to headset/hands-free speaker option which results in a huge dip in audio quality
3. One of the tests resulted in my microphone not showing any activity in a vc(no green circle) but kept audio from other running apps, tried reverting to no avail. Microphone works/has activity on Discord web browser, seems to be only an app issue
4. Uninstall->reinstall discord, restart PC etc tried all the previous tests same issue
5. One last reset of voice and video settings and it came back to the first issue of muting out all other audio
6. going in and out of a call with my normal speakers and then swapping to bluetooth seems to have fixed it and reset it back to step 1. where audio quality is fine, mic has activity, no muted apps in the background when in a call

Recently, I discovered a server I'm in has underage users- stating they allow "all ages", with many people staying they are 9, 12, etc. But I've only gotten two's accounts moderated, but there's clearly a lot lot more that I can't find. The easiest solution to stop the behavior is to get the server itself taken down, as I've asked them to adjust the rules per breaking discord tos but they always just ask me to stop talking about it, and reporting the server does nothing. How do I take the server encouraging people to break discord tos down?

Let me explain... I'm trying to get a refund for a subscription (I forgot to cancel it). I have my email address set to A, I got the receipt on email A, I use email A with Discord for year, but every time I create support request, put the A email in the support form, the response from support team goes to B email which is my previous Discord email and they said that I don't have any payments associated with my email B. I also tried to reach support to explain this issue, but also no luck.

The support response "However, to better assist you and to protect our users' privacy and security, we're only able to discuss account details with the email address associated with that Discord account.", but this is exactly what I did! I created this support ticket with my current email, but got this response to my old email saying this.

These response are automatic and I bet something wrong with the ticket system. I can't reach any support 😔
