Make sure notifications for discord app is allowed, also try turning the settings off and on again.

All I can say is, this happened to me once and all I did is turning the setting off and on, might have had an update then so that might've fixed it for me.

GurreG i fixed it!!!! There was a setting i had to turn on to make another setting show up in my system settings!
I had to enable desktop noftications then finally discord poped up in my nofications settings in my system settings for my macbook then i was able to customized how i got noftications

Hello ! My friend's having an issue using Discord in Browser (Chrome), when she talks, her discord instantly receives the sound (green bar moving) but, I hear her ~4sec later. When I answer, she hears me with almost no delay. Every sound effect (noise reduction, echo canceling, automatic gain etc...) are disabled.
When she checks our call's latency, it's always around ~18ms avg, and max being ~30ms.
Do you guys have an idea where could the issue come from ?

hi, not sure what changed on my MBP M1 but when I launch DIscord app it just goes to a blank screen. It shows the "Updating" screen and then opens Discord main window. But, window is black and it's frozen, can't drag/move with mouse. So, I dug into logs and found this:

i can extract the contents of Discord's ASAR / electron package and find the index.js with the incorrect import/require statement and probably create a new one and patch it myself. but.... i've had this error/problem now for at least the past 2-3 months. just stopped working out of the blue. and i downloaded latest version and verified that the updates were successfully installed (per the log).

but, seems an extreme measure to try and debug / patch it myself. surely someone has seen this and has a fix? thanks

Most cases when it says "RTC Connecting" in a voice channel it's due to this Voice Channel setting, try changing it to "Automatic", Tho why your games keep chrashing I don't know.

Is it possible to join too many discord servers? Not in the sense of 100 or 200 server limit, but total servers I've been in with my account.
I only ask, cause I seem to be getting ratelimited. The last two times I joined a server I appear to have gotten a spam warning - and um - I've contacted support but I was wondering if any of y'all have something similar too. I've also noticed that when I dm new people it's being a lot more strict with verification... Did I somehow spam?

Server limit is 100 for none nitro users and 200 for nitro users, no such thing as “joining too many servers” I mean you can hit the limit sure. The CAPTCHA you’re getting for dming people is just a spam feature, all I know.

Might be because you joined too many servers too quickly in a single day?

Mass reporting does not have any weight in how fast they are handled nor influence the outcome, if anything you are slowing down the process by spamming support.
