Try explaining the issue you have here if you can mods are just volunteers so they most likely won't be a to help and I don't think there's any support staff on this server even if there are the staff I seen say thry can't help with individual problems

I believe all staff dms will be closed saddly. Since its a personal issue I would just keep trying to get in touch with a support member that could help if you haven't already try asking them if they could escalate your issue if they haven't already. The only other thing I could recommend is look in the feedback section on the support site. I doubt youll get your answer but it doesn't hurt to try atleast.

I don't think you can look at deleted messages without breaking the tos (correct me if I am wrong), but if you are an admin or mod in a server and have a bot that allows logging, that can be a way to see deleted messages in a log channel

1. If you are a regular member, any ways to see messages that were deleted most likely break the tos
2. If you are a mod/admin, add a bot to your server that allows logging and it will log when messages are deleted and more

i just switched to a community server a month ago, after doing that it needed me to setup a welcome screen where members select what channels they see. some people just dont do that and then get confused when we mention a channel they dont see, then i need to go unlock it for them its very annoying. is there any way to do without this system and go back to the old way where you see every channel unless it is role locked, but keep community server

To get acces to it press Win+R and paste it in

This was ok for quite some time, but as time passed the number of categories became just too much and the server is now too "polluted". I am now reorganizing it and using a forum where each post (created by me or an admin) will correlate to one chat channel from the existing categories.

My question is, I want to move the chat history from the chat channel to the newly created forum post, is this at all possible?

Sending an invite via DMs isn't inherently "not allowed". Sending invites to your friends wouldn't get you in trouble.
Many servers that disallow are just that server's preference because a lot of bots just advertise via DMs.
However, do it too much to too many people and Discord might just see you as a bot spamming invites instead.

Support can take a few days or weeks to respond. Sending more tickets will just slow things down its Best to just wait. I'll also note thst it takes 30 days for your account to be fully deleted since it was disabled by discord not you. so don't be scared on your 14th day thinking your account it about to be deleted

Its simply a way to quickly generate and send an invite to someone. What isn't allowed is unsolicited advertising, which is advertising something to someone, usually a large amount of people at once, who did not ask for it.

Plenty other features have various abuse factors, but that does not mean they shouldn't exist or be removed. They still have valid use cases.

I keep having tremendous package loss in Discord (and Discord only) whenever someone starts sharing their screen or activates their camera. It's only on certain Discord regions (which is why Discord says it's a routing issue and completely refuses any further support or troubleshooting).

Thing is, there's no package loss in any traceroute or when I ping the very same server with which my Discord client produces 50-75% package loss. Also it's exclusively happening with screen share and camera feeds, never with voice alone. Sometimes when a stream is on, voice will drop a few packages, but when not having any screenshare running, voice alone is completely fine. Anybody having any ideas?

Go to https://support.discord.com and sign in. If you haven’t signed in to the support site specifically before, you need to get a password by clicking the button at the bottom of the sign in page for it. Otherwise click on your avatar in the top right and click “My Activity”

hey I have a problem where when I want to watch a stream of a friend it lags like crazy and my whole discord sounds like I have a 5000 ping, same goes for cams, I can't see my friends because it would lag like crazy (internet lag)
