I run two servers, both community servers with that channel set. They each have different messages from discord in them. For example, they both have the announcement about server subscriptions, but about 10 days apart. One server has an announcement about soundboard being available (sent on 4/2) and the other server doesn't have any such message.

There are sometimes buy one get one sales, but they don't usually make that much sense. One was get one to gift to someone else (neat but not super useful), and another was buy one month and get two months of nitro, but like, just once. Server Guide underwent a change recently, it's visible to new server members and admins only and for others the resource channels are visible in channel list

You can't. Not on your own at least. Discord adds this check if it detects anomalous behavior, often because you're doing a lot of something fairly rapidly. In this case, you probably added too many people too fast. It'll go away eventually on its own.

I have tried logging into different browsers, discord platforms, internets, and even countries. On top of that, I am unable to modify my subscription page, add or remove credit cards, or even cancel my current subscription. I was wondering if you have heard or seen this problem before and have any suggestions to help me fix the issue. Discord support has in fact verified that my account is bugged and they are working on a fix. However, this was around 56 days ago, and till this day they did not fix the problem or reach out to me. Whenever I ask for an update, all I get is that they are working on the issue and they cannot give me any estimate on when I can expect this issue to be fixed. Although the logical solution here is to create a new account, but having to lose all the conversations and migrate my contacts is a hassle. If you have any ideas, I will be more than happy to try them out. Thank you for your time, and sorry for the long message.

No, when i meant by different countries is that I tried checking it out when I traveled back home. I have in fact had friends login to my account, and the same issue appears. I can login to other accounts and the page loads just fine. It just won't load in my account. I am also unable to modify or cancel my current subscription, nor am i able to even renew it. Would you say that building a server from scratch, and then giving ownership to someone else (transfer of ownership) because they bought your services to do so (again, they didn’t have a server before but they requested you make one for money because you offer server building services from scratch) against ToS?

I realize that it isn’t necessarily selling a server, but in a way, the person offering the services is giving server ownership to someone who agreed to pay them to get that server built and get ownership.
It’s different than if you paid someone to set up a server that the customer already owned.

It's an application you authorized.

Go into user settings, authorized apps. If you see things there you don't recognize with the permissions to join servers for you, remove them.

Well, since it doesn't look like there's support roles open now, to answer a couple of those questions: First, outside of internships, I've never seen a part time role posted for Discord. It's standard corporate tech roles, all full time.

Second, most - but not all - roles for Discord are optionally remote, with some geographic limitations. You'll most likely need to be in the US (there's limited Netherlands and even more limited Australian positions I've seen, but well over 90% seem to be US-based.) Refresh your client, check network issues. It's either a cache problem (fixed by refreshing) on your pc is having a hard time hitting the CDN for whatever reason, probably a temporary outage somewhere that's not your fault and will be fixed eventually on its own.

Hello everyone, I am having an issue with perms. Looking at the roles of this user, you can see they only have Q1 and Q2 roles. The channel is specifically hidden for both Q1 and Q2, as you can also see, and they have no other roles or specific overrides.

They still show in the channel member list, which i assume means they can see it, so why

Hello! I think that everyone will overide this role. To perform such an action, you should put "view channel" to neutral (grey-white color) for everyone and to keep in red for your role.

Alright currently don’t know what to do someone said they’re reporting my server due to a Issue where a Member from my server raided a server while saying they came from my server My group had no correlation to the guy besides that he was in my server and only just found out it happened what can I do so far the guy who raided the server is banned from my server

I have contacted discord support on email above the situation

And explained it

if you were reported and it was actioned upon I'd guess you'd receive an email from Discord. since you've contacted them already I don't think you need to do much else tbh.

I would advise not creating multiple tickets about this just wait for them to respond if they even do

Mobile is still stable as is. Apparently I rebooted my server after I got my nitro back on 25 April, but for some unknown reason, the boost badge still shows the no level sign, and it did not show the server pfp was changed as well, but even though I gave it 2 boosts to level 1. Any fix to it?

It's the TOTP algorithm, so yeah, computed based on current 30-second time slice. Usually the codes from periods immediately before and after will work as well, to account for small drift, but if you're off by more than a minute you'll have issue.

I think the question is why you're asking this. Like, what information do you expect to get about Discord's internal data models? All we can really say for sure* is that they would purge anything personally identifiable about the account, because GDPR.

• Discord has gotten in trouble in the past for playing fast and loose with the GDPR so "for sure" might be taken with a grain of salt.

So, maybe stored under the original user ID, or stored with a randomized ID, or with a blank ID altogether, we can't reasonably predict that, but it also doesn't matter to us. We can be reasonably certain that the details about that user ID are removed, though, so even if it was stored under the original user ID (which would be pretty surprising to me, from a data protection standpoint), it's just a number at this point.

theres no paying here, its not a resource that could be exhausted, for example if someone wants a free subway sandwich then it's probably the cashier or the worker or manager there that's gonna pay eventually, for discord, nitro is just an item, if they wanted to, they could give nitro to everyone for free, theres no paying there, also partner program people are very low in number so it's highly unlikely that the company is gonna face a deal breaking loss

Discord has by far the worst support system I have ever witnessed, recently they falsely disabled my main account for being "under 13 years old" which is obviously not true at all and I did send a photo of me holding a piece of paper with my discord name on it and a passport with my date of birth on it, but they said that if I won't comply with their rules, then this will be a permanent decision and my account will not be reinstated, when I already did send them the photo needed. I have been using discord since 2016 and I never encountered such problem. I have filed a company complaint in Better Business Bureau maybe that does something but I honestly don't know

If anyone here knows about Electron.js, could you tell me what can cause all applications made with Electron to go sluggish? I use VS Code, Teams, Skype and some other applications and the animations are not smooth at all, instead of displaying at the refresh rate of my screen like any other program, they look like they are limited to 30fps and the truth is that it is uncomfortable to see on a 2k screen.
