Try going to a NEW device that you have NEVER logged onto before. Go to the discord log in page. Then, click "forgot my password." It will send you an email to the account you used to sign up with. From there, you can reset your password to a new password. After that, it will log you out of all devices. Try logging in with the new password.

Each server selects their own moderators by their own criteria. Usually it's being an active, trusted member for a period of time and being asked. A lot of servers will specifically not make you a mod if you ask, so gauge it based on the server.

but overall any server has their own ways of looking for mods, some servers are desperate, some servers look for active engagers in the community, and some big servers usually offload it to paid contractors like modsquad. there's really no wrong answer in becoming a mod, but if you're interested in helping out in places you enjoy, just overall tips I would suggest is contribute to the community engagement and show the staff there that you want to help a community grow, and if they end up looking for active users that are interested, chances are they'll pick you, who knows.

And then also if a user were to be redirected to a channel that had a role requirement and the user did NOT have the required role would there be some kinda workaround there or it would be a broken redirect on the users end?

Solutions ive tried is disabling the overlay. cleared the cache, disable hardware acceleration, audio encoding, even tried using the website just to see if it was my installation that could have been corrupt but got the same issue
