Unless it’s rattling or something else doing anything to the stabs isn’t gonna do anything in this case. Your two options are getting a softer switch for your space bar or getting some space bar foam if it’s sounding like it’s a gunshot everytime you press it

Just got the wuque tester pack in, Poseidon is a nah from me, difficult to remove, mid sound sig.

The diamond mold is perfect, almost effortless removal, keycaps slip off with little force. They're both clack switches so won't be replacing my board with them, Oceans Heart clackier than Cullinan, highly recommend if the owlab ti sound sig is pleasant to your ears.

@thorn bolt Based on your sound test, there's 3 things i can conclude on why I think your spacebar is loud. Plate, case mount, and switch. Typically your stabilizers is not the problem in this case. It doesn't change the volume of how your spacebar sounds. The only thing that a stabilizer can ruin the sound quality of your modifiers is if it rattles or ticks. That can be fixed with lube/grease.
Moving on, your plate in this situation plays a huge part in how loud your spacebar sounds. Steel plate is one of the most pingiest, loudest, and stiffest plate out of the plate material selection. Your best option here is to just get a different plate material that is compatible with your 60HE. case mount. Going back to why I say using case foam to full eliminate vibration going into the case is inevitable is because of the mount. Using a tray mount case means that you have to screw in contact points that puts pressure on the pcb towards the case. That means vibration transfer, which also creates hotspot in those points. (hotspots meaning uneven sounds) The most your case foams can do is just lessen the hollowness in your board. Best solution here is to use a different mount like getting a friction fit pad from wooting or just lessen the screw tightness at each point (and not use the standoffs at the middle of the case and spacebar | the reason why your board doesn't take affect after unscrewing these points is because your plate, your plate is the biggest problem on why your spacebar is too loud ;P)
Lastly switch, switch can also be a slight factor on how your spacebar sounds. It's not a huge factor in your case but changing the switch can sort of help with the bottom out volume.

So TLDR, change your switch plate (your biggest problem in this situation), consider your case mount, change your switch (if you want, would do the first 2 though)

What exactly do you mean by case mount? Do you mean the whole case or just the screw part of it?

What case mount is what you use to mount the pcb and plate module into the case. So for the tofu redux, yes, its the screws you use to screw in the plate and pcb into the case, hence its called tray mount.

All stabs are the same. Especially if you lube it well. If you give it a good tuning job on whatever stabs, they will all sound the same. Only difference between these newer gen stabs I'd that they're easier to lube thanks to their molds.

Krytox 205g0 is all you need

Knights v4 doesn't require a lot of lube like other stabs as well

so I would still go on the basics of less is more

My tip for lubing switches, if your coating leaves of a thin shiny coat under the light, then its good. If you see white build up however, that's a sign of overlubing. Same thing for stabilizer housings and stem when you lube them. For lubing the stabilizer wires with krytox. I would just add a good amount to the wire till its covered all the way at the end points.
