They're stable and sound good, factory lube is mediocre and you can't open them to lube. Also not the smoothest switches, probably because of the tightness and factory lube, a bit of friction is noticeable when you press them offcenter

generally you want to avoid using the foam switch layer since it could effect the accuracy of the board

One thing to note is also try make sure the pet film matches correct distances

Some kits have pet film that’s too thick which would throw off your switch selector by .05 (commonly see pet film that’s 1mm included when we use .05 iirc)

No I understand, you just put it in a different way at first. Yeah they're working with plastic and that makes it significantly easier quality and sound wise. Personally I don't notice a difference between them and some other switches, I think the actual rail would end up mattering more.

Yeah I think the rail/lube would matter more in terms of scratchiness. No matter what happens in a switch, there's going to be a linear motion hitting one object with another, what would actually cause scratchiness would be the magnet/stem rubbing with the bottom, not just striking it like this is. Of course there is no perfect switch in terms of stability and there will always be a tad bit off leeway, however that leeway isn't enough to cause scratchiness

though theremingoat did note after some number of actuations they would become more wobbly
