I'm never buying any other stabs. Zero wobble, zero rattle, just some 205g0 and you're good. Takes a little more attention during assembly because of the left and right thing but it's well worth it. They have a unique sound but that either bothers you or it doesn't.

stability wise they're both good. TTC Horse is a cleaner tone but not as low pitched, but a lot of us like it

you're mostly sidegrading for different sound, so that's a personal preference choice

the thing with pa12, which is what gives those deeper deep switches that deep tone is it muffles the sound signature a bit. So some folks like the non pa12 variants even though it's not as deep

So I installed the ufos switches yesterday

This morning I was playing with wootlity the beta where you can change the kind of switches

the ufo is 35mm

When I push every switches, there are some that do not got as far as 35mm according to wootility

I have to press several time and then I am able to go to 35mm

If I unplug the keyboard, relaunch wootily it happens again but it can be on different switches

what do you think?

It could be there is some variance in ufo magnets so it’s taking auto calibration to adjust the switches that have slightly different magnet values

yeah normally unless the switches are being particularly annoying you can literally just take off keycaps and pull switches without disassembling anything - then no chance of any mistakes

it does sound like either a few of your ufo magnets are off compared to our samples or some of your layering inside the pcb sandwich is incorrectly installed which is messing with the height detected from your key presses

not super difficult, but those are the only likely explanations because your ufo shouldn't be having so much issues bottoming out

Keep in mind there’s minor housing variances though and some manufacturers aren’t as precise

Yeah if you have extras maybe try swapping those ufo out for another ufo switch that isn’t having the issue

Just received my GT-60 case for my Wooting 60he v2. However, it seems to not be compatible (I have Nordic layout switchplate and PCB). So traymounting nor gasket mounting seems to be possible, no silicone gasket standoffs were included.

Is it just returning it or am I going about it wrong?

i just double checked my board too. 3.5mm on bottom out for the keys i tested. i do have a custom stiffer plate though

but that shouldn't affect things unless i was pressing harder

i did just order 10 silver ufo just to have them on hand to compare magnets and make sure magnet power is the same
