yeah the main thing is always use sound tests as a reference point then compare that to how it works in your setup

i keep all the sound tests identical setup so that the reference point never changes, so for example with your keycaps you can assume all the soundtests will be roughly equally 'deepened' by your thicker keycaps

@robust siren i placed back my gaskets near my spacebar, i looked at the placement and it seems fine. For 7U bar the gaskets were placed evenly parallel on both side of the stab housing. Sounded even and bright compared to without gaskets. I tried only puting one on one side and yeah it automatically sounded uneven. So really i think any 2 mounting points near the spacebar would sound fine if they're placed evenly, if not then its a no go.

Their Blackwidows i never had issues with, that was fine (minus the again, invasive software wanting to autoinstall etc etc).
