Yeah I really like the sound & slight flex of it. I got warned by someone from wootings staff that POM may end up interfering with the accuracy of the PCB when I talked about it on this server (shortly after og 60he campaign was done) but honestly I have not noticed any issues since installing it, I think I ordered mine as a custom order from custom KBD before they offered it themselves

For the stabilizer housing, I used krytox 205g0, that stuff just gets lightly brushed into the housing of the stem & the outside of the sliding part of the stem (size 0 brush works well, I think there are "brushpens" with 205g0 available, those are probably the easiest to use)

And for the contact area between the stab slider & wire, people have recommended permatex dielectric grease (which I personally don't enjoy that much) so I ended up with XHT-BDZ, which is really really thick stuff
Wootings stabilizer tuning kit comes with molykote, which I assume is somewhere between permatex and xht, so without having tried that, may be your best bet honestly

Lubing switches for the most part is a haptic improvement, if you lube the springs in the switches it can have an impact on sound
But lubed stabs sound way better than unlubed ones, and also feel better

if you're talking about switches, some need but most don't need lube since factory lube now and then is already great. But another thing to note, even if you do lube them, over time the more you type, the lube breaks in and spreads, it won't sound the same as if you just lubed them. So the main focus when lubing is to lube all spots that comes in contact with each other that targets smoothness. Stabs however your main focus is to give them a proper lube job to eliminate rattle and make sure its smooth.

oddforge ran a korean gb which the one in the pics is from and then massdrop actually ran a GB of it a year later somehow

on geekhack oddforge had said many times there will be a v2 but it never happened

thing is with acrylic, since its so dense, you dont need any plates or tape or foam... you make the plate out of 5mm acryulic, if you look closely, you can see in my pics the only non 5mm plate is the top and bottom - that way it sounds amazing

Typically PC plate and Steel is in two categories of material, PC in plastic which dampens almost high frequency noise which can sound "dead" most of the time, and Steel on the other hand which is stiff (stiffest plate of the bunch) that provides a really high metallic sound and also a pingy sound profile within the board.
