Phylinas are by Hejin, and the manu of those Mintcaps ones or whatever they were called (they have a couple different nameplates, not just aigouxin) is still unknown afaik.

Haimu Moonlight dome and stem (though I wouldn’t recommend stemswapping) are compatible with Raeds’ housings. Haimu’s domes are slightly more tactile but they’re quite expensive.

Not worth to buy in general, it’s a pretty bad switch and there are more tactile domes available for Raeds.

Interesting that Haimu cloned them so much that the domes are compatible tho 😂

hey guys, only posting in here as i'll need some sort of modding... but I have a secretlab desk and the leather pad that is fitted on the top surface is fitted using magnets and this is causing some of my keys on my keyboard to freak out only in 8000hz mode. I have the 80he in frost (plastic casing) and was wondering if anybody may have a solution to block out the magnetic interference from my desk mat and the keyboard. TIA

• make sure the plate fits with a 1.5mm thick acryllic board and the pins actually align with the real PCB (1-2 weeks from now)
• once i get confirmation, commission tom to print me out a full on FR4 plate and buy the best plate stabilizers i can find, the standoffs, and the screws. then i 3d print it to make sure the case works as intended (2-3 weeks)
• once i make a full assembly, i commission gaojie to mill me a polycarbonate case and send it over (2-3 weeks)
• i assemble it

hey guys, i recieved my wooting today and im very happy with it, the only issue is that its too loud when im playing osu, i don't want my ears to die so i plan on tape modding and mod the keycaps, how much layers of tape would be the best to make it more silent ? or do you have any recommendations to try and make my keyboard more silent ? i've seen these rubber things you put on your keycaps but some people said it makes it feel like a membrane keyboard, which scares me because i want it to be precise

Tape mod doesn't make your keyboard any more silent, to keep it simple it raises the lows and mids of the board which can also increase the volume of the board overall.
Depending on which wooting you own, if you own the 80HE or 60HE v2, they have a preinstalled tape mod applied from the factory. If you want to make your keyboard more silent, use any dampeners like foam or silicone

and yes definitely do not use rubber orings and apply them under the keycaps

any high density foam works. Don't over pack your case with foam or it will essentially do the opposite of what you want.

if you like to go in the route of silent switches then yeah go ahead! but on the lower end of muted switches, i'd say tikkens are one of the options on the list that are not silent but still lower in bottom out frequency

essentially a 4mm switch just like lekkers but better stability, has a closed bottom housing, and overall better sound

do check out some sound tests and compare them from one anoher

should give you an idea

Just keep in mind ceramics have some downsides on top of being expensive. You'll need a heavier spring on your spacebar switch, the stems can sometimes have alignment issues and if you want legends on your keycaps they will rub off over time as they are just uv printed on

if you listen to the sound test in the database there's also a lube check included

you can see how much lube is on the stem stock
