You need to put a little spacer between the jaw and the stem so that the top housing (and nameplate/logo) doesn’t obstruct your measurement of the travel. A magnet like this works pretty well:

Love that they're adding more switches. I bought 3 and I am struggling to decide on just one (or 2). Owlab Ti and UR Ice Ultra are on the list for the Switch Selector. Will Akko Astrolink be added soon? I might actually end up with those.

Owlab Ti Lights are a little light and maybe a little too clacky, the UR Ice Ultras sound more mechanical but are louder, and the Astrolink seem to produce a mechanical sound that's more thocky and less clacky and are right in the middle as far as light diffusion goes with the stock 80HE keycaps.

The 60v2 is only appealing to me because of wootility and the split spacebar design, I really have no need for 8k polling, I mainly use my wooting for productivity/remapping etc through their amazing software. I prefer that thocky/marbly sound that can only be produced with mechanical switches, not hall effect as far as I know.. So what do I do? Do I compromise the sound for the functionality of the wooting, or prioritize sound and feel for the loss of the amazing wootility software..?? Please help! 🥲 🫠

all you get is basically a more even coating than a machine, but there's already a lot of lube on tikkens stock

For example, with wooting you could have a mod tap function on the fn key between the spacebars, just tapping the key = backspace, holding the key = fn layer

A bunch of interesting things like that are available due to the HE tech, but if you don't see the use/need for it then it's whatever, might as well save that money or put it towards some nice sounding mx board

Not uncommon w/ spacebars. You can do a couple things to help, like lube the stabs, put some foam inside the spacebar

Also potentially tune your stabs
