magnet strength would only be an issue at the ragged edge of activation range, just choose a activation range that's within tolerance of all keys and that you like, and then it doesn't really matter

the HE sensors are very sensitive

flux didn't but i don't know if that's because barely anyone used flux longterm besides shafie and varedis. Deep clack seems to develop minor crunching from use over time, but i don't know if regular flux do or not

magnet isn't an issue for wooting either way because it's within our range since some of our lekkers are already operating in that magnet range

honestly i don't think the flux crunch stuff is big enough to worry about. It's super minor and i doubt most people would even notice it

If you want your plate to add a neutral, balanced sound, then go for fr4, if you want a bit deeper then pom, if you want brighter then alu or cf

The Wooting x TTC KOM POM is really stable and has a really nice heavy spring. You'll need to lightly lube the channels though, as they come without lube.

On my 80HE they are fantastic on the polycarbonate plate. Not annoying to me.

I am very pleased with the FR4 plate for the 80HE. It stiffened up the response some and I can feel the difference both in the switch activation and rebound. This makes me pleased that the 60HEV2 will come with a FR4 plate.
The sound is different, it seems both more muted and also a bit more distinct at the same time. I'm not really sure how to describe it, but I think that I'm happy with it.
I did do away with the factory silicon gasket and switch to a foam gasket, and I did also do away with the factory case foam and replace with a different foam and film. (I kept the stock wooting tape job under the board.)
