its because no one makes those special edition shells for the 2ds

even all the normal shells arent available in all official color combos

so my recommendation: get a cheap functioning 2ds xl/ll OR new 3ds xl/ll and save yourself the (very often) trouble attached to finding a special edition one for sane prices and in good condition

(the recommendation is doubly true if you wanna install a capture card into it)

You can just put the 80HE original
Foam in it, or you could use polyfill

Only con to my knowledge would be the keyboard would just sound rather hollow without any polyfill or foam in it. You can also use electrical tape to act as your new tape mod
