Are there any specific keycaps that are particularly popular or preferred when swapping the default ones out or is it mostly preference? My fingers are so numb that it's hard to play FPS games, so I'm trying to replace the switches, but it's not easy.
I'm currently using a raw HE 40g.
However, the bottom is blocked, so when I hit the bottom of the switch during a game, my fingers get numb. So, I want to replace the switches, but is there a lightweight, open-bottom magnetic switch in the 30-40g range?
I'm currently using a Wooting 80g HE.

Your problem for finger numbness is most likely from you not getting used to lower travel distance switches

so you may need 4mm travel distance switches

Well there's your problem

Your issue right now with finger numbness from using Geon Raw HE is the reduced travel bottom out. It's a lot shorter than your typical full mm travel distance that your finger can normally handle.

You just need to find switches that has a 4mm travel distance and you should be good to go. Only "best" option within that tier is Wooting Tikkens and Lekker v2. I'd wait for the Tikken to release as it's going to be the first closed bottom 4mm HE switch in the market.
