You’ll make rookie mistakes if it’s your first time (everyone does), but nothing that is permanent. Just follow Sander on the Wooting YT and make sure to keep your screws separate and you should be good. Overtime you will mod your keyboard how you see fit as you learn more about the things you can change from your stock keyboard.

1). Stock lube for stabilizers is varied between units/batches (maybe yours is good or maybe it isn’t). 2). To reduce rattle you will want to make sure your stabilizers are tuned (meaning it’s completely flat and a part isn’t sticking up). Then you’ll want to lube your stab wires before inserting back into the housing. 3). Try out different actuation points and see what’s your favorite (you can create separate profiles if you need to)

oh yeah ur right sorry was mixing up debounce with per-key actuation tuning. they combine low global debounce with per-key rapid trigger tuning for peak control?

global debounce you'll find in the setting tab and it's just a toggle to enable debounce filtering on all keys. Then the per key settings are if you want to finetune how your rt behaves

so yeah, you just enable debounce if you want it, then tweak rt to what you want

Is there anything I can put under my PCB to give my keys a slightly thockier sound? I have 3 layers of painters tape and find that the numbers sound the way i'd like them to sound but the letters are a bit more high pitched than i'd prefer at the moment. (I have Gateron Moonlight switches)

You’ll have some different pitches since different areas of the keyboard can and will sound varied from others which is normal
