@slate fox Each boards can achieve different sound depending on the combination of all parts, mount, plate material, switch, keycaps (profile, material, and quality), foam, no foam, all sorts of things.
You can have a general base idea on what each parts can provide into sound like for example, plate material, CF being one of the stiffest plates out of the bunch tends to be the brightest sounding plate comparing to others with lower density and stiffness like PC where PC sounds more dead with less resonance but more dampened. It takes a whole lot of experimenting to get what you like. It's basically like making a formula for a cure. Not one thing can change the whole sound profile of the board but rather consist of everything.

Another thing is preference and all that, your preference may not be my preference and mine not be yours.

Hi guys, this is my initial setup I'm starting from. I'm very happy to finally be able to return to PC Gaming and content creation with a full studio, finally a new station and what a station. No spoilers, I'll share something in the gaming setup when the time comes 😈. Speaking of keyboards, I decided to start with the Wooting 80he, starting from the PCB, without keycaps, without a standard or aluminum case, with the Lekker 45 V2, although I'm thinking of getting the Raptor V2 and the Jade, Cable coiled white. And then pair it with a white case from KBD Fans, it cost me a lot considering the customs (unexpected) but I hope it was worth it. The build is all white, with the addition of the daughterboard for 80he barebone,the buckles and the hook for the white straps to alternate with the gold one. White so I pair it with the Ceazy Light v2 and the desk, black enthusiast-level PC. Dual monitor setup OLED 240hz. I'm still deciding on keycaps, any advice is welcome

I’m switching my switches right now so I thought might as well clean it all

Either a damp paper towel/microfiber (then make sure it’s fully dry) or just brush it off if you have something. I would stay away from any isopropyl since it’s a plastic and would probably cause damage.

Depending on how many times you remove your switches it might get some scuff marks but not sure you can do anything about that
