Just received my Haimu Dove HE, they are kinda silent, there's room for improvement, I don't try other silent switch options tho.
And they are quiet rattling, you can even hear the spring noise a little. Maybe they need some extra lubing.

They have dual rails as well, it’s an all around bad switch and the fact that the stem doesn’t even engage the dampers properly (thus not dampening at all) is the pinnacle. Peak Gateron engineering.

Has anyone tried modding haptic feedback into their keyboard? My idea came from wanting a tactile switch again, but no tactile HE switches. So my next best idea was to take apart some old game controllers and put their haptic engines in the foam at the bottom of the case. Then do some math to make it work the way I want it to. You could check out AEBoards’ Raed HE switches or Tecsee’s Gel Pads, those are tactile (rubber dome).

Raeds have a more linear dome and with Gel Pads you have the option to go with linear (still tactile) or tactile.

Yeah some boards like this one require a custom plate. Some are o-ring mount and you can drop them in (not always).

Bounce is fine, it's flex you have to worry about. As long as you're screwing the plate to the PCB though, you're usually pretty good. I did build a board this week but it's currently MX because I'm out of spare PCB's and I'm waiting on a new V2 PCB when they go on sale.

For Rakka’s split space, you’ll have to remove one pin of a switch as it conflicts with a HE sensor location. You can do this with scissors, with a metal tube or with your bare fingers (this is only for switches with weaker pins).
