I have the pom version. They're decent but you need to buy the stand offs for the pcb seperately. Mine didn't come with them so confirm with the seller. Also expect the cut outs to be rough with plastic overhanging.

What factors do you guys look at when looking for quality switches? Naming and coloring of housing is usually marketing fluff (except clear cases/ diffusers for RGB). Is it just stem, top, bottom, material combos? Lube, sound, spring weight etc? There's just mountains of different switches for each type of switch that it's a bit of a headache trying to differentiate good from bad.

You wanna look for tightness/stem wobble, lube is whatever since 99.5% will have an okay/decent factory lube job with exception to TTC Poms. Spring weight is a little more important than lube. The current meta is Owlab TI HEs for nonboxstem and TTC POM for boxstem for gaming purposes

I think Phylina Thunder (box stem version of UR ice switches, I think @glacial wind tested them recently, but he also put together a modding page that goes thru a few other switches

yeah owlab are a safe bet if you're not sure, because they aren't box stem which not everyone likes

I like marbly thockiness that isn't too loud. Clacky makes my skin crawl lol. I have maxes that the moment I like but Im planning on another keyboard sometime sooner. I would like to try something new maybe even going the mechanical route.

the wiggle at bottom out is where I notice box stems a bit more. Like when i put the owlab ti next to the phylina the bottom out is where i can see the difference

but it hurts the feel a bit too since you can also feel the box stems lol
