there arent any "best" stabilizers nor switch and etc. you can make any stabs sound good if you give em a proper tuning. but there are good stabs that makes tuning easieer like SW Knights v1/v2/v3 or like Typexplus YIKB for example

for 1.2mm they need to be used with shims to support the gap distance of the pcb and the mounting of the stab itself. for 1.6mm however they dont need it
