solenoid tests are completely reliant on the resolution of the board, higher resolution = win. doesn’t really have much to do with latency unless both boards that are tested have a really high resolution.
then shorting the sensor is shit because it removes all sensor and firmware latency so it also doesn’t really tell you anything.

and add to that all the firmware optimazations that boards have now like when a single key is pressed, the scanning goes up by 10x..

It’s really odd. A loose screw here and there wouldn’t cause a 1.2mm difference so something else might be going on.

Don’t use stock screws from pcb, You should’ve received additional screws, the flat ones. Use them on both the top and bottom of the PCB.

You can check the bottom of the PCB to see if any switch pins aren’t poking through too. Might be a bit quicker. ;)

Some of them can be opened without soldering — you just need to use something thin (like a needle or tweezers) to lift the rivet, and ideally apply a drop of liquid lube onto the contacts. If you can’t find a tutorial on YouTube, I’ll send you a photo showing how to do it.

rebound will be slow with lekker/raw springs because they are 14-15mm

you can get long springs on aliexpress but i doubt they are high quality
