What’s a Tariff?
A tariff is like a fee you pay to bring a toy from one country to another. Imagine the keyboard is a $200 toy, and the U.S. is a clubhouse that charges you to bring it in.
The Keyboard
It’s made in China.

It has a shiny aluminum case.

The whole keyboard costs $200 (that’s what it’s worth when it’s ready to ship).

It’s going to the U.S.

How Tariffs Work (Super Simple)
Who Pays?
The person bringing the keyboard to the U.S. (like a store) pays the tariff. Not the Chinese factory.
