They have been tested and confirmed to work with the 80HE. Though, you’d be better off getting the Outemu Brown Magnetic switches from AliExpress. They’re almost identical and tactile as well. Or you could go with Raeds, a rubber dome switch.

Its not even JUST transferring profiles between boards. It's being able to quickly copy and apply the settings of someone else, your fav player, your friend. Plus just switching profiles in Venom doesnt switch all your settings so you have to go in and reconfigure your options in the settings tab if you change between a typing profile and gaming profile that use different settings.

you change the value pretty much exactly the same way as other boards. the calibaration thing wooting does can be considered good or bad since some people do fck up due to the way it starts when you plug in the cable.

Generally a lot of the well factory lubed switches these days though they have plenty of lube and if you’re really particular you can just spread the existing lube a bit better

venom and other popular recommended boards were never popular because of raw performance data from eyejoker. They were popular because of the companies behind them and track record for firmware being good

Things like “oh the auto calibration is amazing and doesn’t mess up as often/need recalibrating” for example is not something that shows up in a raw latency test
