If you're planning to pull the entire board of switches, do yourself a favor and take it apart until you just have the plate and the switches left and they will come out 100x easier. Even if they are easy to remove while built, I try to avoid it for a number of reasons, but mainly to preserve the integrity of the housing clips and other damnage that comes from being pulled

On stiff plates like steel, brass, aluminum etc, sometimes the switch retention clips break off when removing them and you'll end up with tiny bits of plastic. Some are better than other but yeah if Im removing all of the switches on a board I just take it apart.
