Instead of having the option of 40/50/60g RAWs you get default 50, but you can always spring swap for cheap for w/e reason if you want 42.5g or 62.5g springs

Foam to change sound profile pitches and frequencies. Tape mod to accentuate more of the lows and mids. I would go for long pole/shorter travel distance switches.

Fyi no switches can provide or give immediate of whatever sound profile you want, your configurations of the whole board itself will result to whatever it shows.

And no k wouldn't go with silent switches for your type of preference

@surreal edge you're referring to stabilizer rattle and it's especially noticeable on 80HE, be it because everything else sounds pretty good out of the box, or for whatever other reason. But yes, all prebuilt keyboards exhibit stabilizer rattle to some extent

good news is you can fix it in 10 minutes with some lubricant and a screwdriver

there's stabs also on the shift keys and backspace, enter, but those are not always so bad I guess because the key is smaller (?)

in any case wooting "sells the solution" in the form of a lube kit on the store, or you can just buy dielectric grease or pretty much any kind of lithium grease you have around will work more or less the same

you put a little bit of that around the contact points of the metal wire and stab stem/housing and it starts sounding more like any other key

@kind helm in the beta when i put the rapid trigger to 0.04 some keys take it and some keys act like it is set to lets say 0.3 or some shit like that but on stable i dont have that issue but when i put some keys on 0.04 on stable i got some random key presses when i press lets say enter or tab but that might be due it is not callibrated fully since i have ttc pom and i selected the raw switch so auto calibration still has to do a little bit of work that is my guess atleast not sure tho

But like I said, some keys acted normal with a 0.04mm RT, while others acted like they were set at around 0.3mm or so, even though they were set to 0.04mm. I think the random numbers and typing issues in the stable version might have been because the TTC POMs need a little more fine-tuning. I used the Geon Raw switch in the selector, and it’s obviously not the same switch as other magnetic fluxes, etc.

I’ll test this theory more in the coming days with RT at 0.04mm since 0.04mm is stable with the TTC POMs. I’ll also check for random numbers or letters typing, or it might just need a bit more time to calibrate the TTCs.

i was able to kinda replicate that if i set everything to 0.1 and 0.04 (where the slow release doesn't deactivate the key), but then i change the downstroke to 0.3 instead it seems to behave more normally.

i think it may just be your finga, 0.04 is a really small distance so maybe you have accidentially pressed down slightly in the process of releasing so it kinda swing within 0.04m range? is that possible, i am not sure.

did you do the same with stable version?
