My XRay cable works with 8k on the Wooting80HE but not at all on the Venom60HE

Randall seems like a good dude, but I suspect it is the cables. Im sure he uses different cabling for different builds and they do not all possess the same latency and/or throughput. USB cables have power lines that supply power, and data lines that support both data and power. Logically 8k polling keebs are going to need more robust wires to handle the increased data transmission and lower latency it requires. It's the reason why some cables are able to run tachyon /8k polling and 100% RGB brightness, some only 8k polling, and some cannot at all. Just glad he's willing to troubleshoot the problem given the cost of the cables.

I haven't tested all of them yet but so far, my Nightcrawler V2 (FEMO QDC) doesn't work with any 8k boards, but works fine with 1k full RGB brightness on my Wooting60s and works fine on my MX boards

My XRAY Cable (No QDC) works on all my boards except the Venom60HE, works fine with 8K and full RGB brightness on the Wooting80HE though.

My Ghost Cable (FEMO QDC) works on all my boards just fine, max brightness, 8k, etc

I just finished testing my Gentleman cable and Custom Patina cable from Randall, as well as my Lindy LEMO, all of them work fine with Wooting80HE Tachyon mode (8k) and full 100% RGB Brightness. And they also working fine on the Venom (8k).

So, it's just the Nightcrawler V2 and the XRay cable having issues for some reason

Yeah, this is correct. KOM just refers to King of Magnetic which is the entire switch line, so to be technical, you'd say these are TTC KOM - RGB or TTC KOM - POM or TTC KOM - OG as in the original ones
