alu is fun because you can hear the top out sound, but maybe a bit loud. since you enjoyed your alu on a even more stiff plate mount, i would probably go with that.
fr4 is a bit more balanced, sounding a bit dead compare to alu for sure but it has its charm. i think i still have a recording somewhere but the mic setup was different from the one i used with alu recording.
pc plate i tried too, it was nice too for sure. but definitely pretty muted.
now i think about it, honestly I would just consider in terms of volume. the sound from all 3 plates i tried are all pretty nice with raw. jade pro a bit meh on both fr4 and alu. spacebar way too loud for me. (probably also relates to the gmk caps i updated too.)
