even if you break the clip, it doesn't affect the switch, it would just be hella annoying to pull out. that is also another reason i feel to pull from the side without the defuser, because that side even if you put more force on to it, it just press against the bottom housing. the side with the defuser however has more room to bend, and so the clip is probably more likely to break

the clips that i have broken before are all on the defuser side, because i was just wiggling the switch. now i more purposefully pull up one side first and it is a lot easier
