@calm pulsar I received the tactile switches we were talking about last month on the 26, I installed them and they actually work surprisingly. It is not a perfect fit tho because the keyboard does not recognise the full length of motion of the key but i am clearly fine with that. all i had to do is hand tune each key one by one

any1 here know anything about these damned spacebar stabilizers and the wire? my 60he+ has such a rattly ticking spacebar and its drifving me nuts but i tried so many things and nothing changed that much, even wire balancing

ye wooting support sent me 2 new 6.25u wires and 2 sets of new stem housings n all that, i tried them both and did all the possible combinations like a month ago but the spacebar still slanted on one side, rattled and didn't actuate instantly

basically idk what it could be i tried to brainstorm it but it might be either the pcb plate is misaligned or smthn

it is as if the spacebar first needs to "settle down" 1 or 2 milimeters before the wire is actually ready to start actuating? if that makes sense

hm not sure, havent tested that, idk what that means

i believe they should be fine, i have 4 sets of them and tried all of them but they all give the same result, so i dont think it is the stems

i eliminated that, now its only down to the wire and where it mounts id assume

stabs are perfectly fine (this is completely stock btw, i havent done anything) with the domikey keycaps i have on but when i was using the KAT profile keycaps, i have some slight rattles on the shift and enter keys but the spacebar was the worst.

it might be due to the extra weight, idk. I'll try to figure it out. There's no problem with pressing it from the left or right side tho, it's perfectly even

Just based off of the sound test I'm hearing so far, disregarding the mic settings and what not, I feel like it seems that the Duhuk switches are really flexible to change in pitch even the slightest bit of modification, esp going off of Geon's stream. The recording sent earlier sounded really bright and it could be because of the tray mount while the gasket in the Overture case controls that brightness even when both of the test recordings use the same switch and plate.
