ive heard the ttc magnetos let u set actuation to minimum 0.2mm, is it the same for the pom version or does it go down to 0.1 like the uranus?

actuation is the same, you have less bottom deadzone with ttc magnetos because they are the most stable switches right now. the more stable switch is, the less is deadzone

also you dont set anything in wootility, deadzone is automatically decreasing

afaik with ttc magnetos it is 0.03mm

springs to reduce spring ping or any factors that it contributes

but "personally" in HE switches

most of the tacky chatter sound we get from these type of switches usually comes from the top housing

which is why we notice it most when topping out the switch

switches like the jades and raws have a nice bottom out sound but if you just listen to the top out individually that's when you notice it. It's not bad at all but is it good? errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, def a lot better than lekkers for all i can say

which was hence why switch tape mod was created for the lekker v1's. Lube was a temporary solution to dampening that chattery sound yet once the lube has broken in the chattery sound came back, but adding the mod was more of a longer term use.

every pbt/abs brand has different formulations of their plastic and different thicknesses which leads to differences in tone

generally i wouldn't worry too much about keycap tone differences if you're new though

with plates you'll also notice bigger differences making drastic changes to the plate material

for example pc vs. carbon fiber are very different materials so you'll see much bigger differences in sound

@visual ore i messaged aliexpress support. From best I can figure out from their answers it's that the 2nd kprepublic is their 'choice' only store - which is all items handled and supported by aliexpress

so both are kprepublic but 'officially' that main kprepublic store is kprepublic and that 2nd store is just where they put all the promo items they want handled fully by aliexpress
