ah. deadzone is just kind of a preference thing. Less deadzone means more likely to have accidental releases or if you release and bounce the key a little by accident then it triggers the double press instead of single press issue more often

@stone flax damn actually the plate is pretty firmly attached without it being screwed on

the combined grip force of all the switches kinda holds it in place properly

the plate still touches the standoffs while not being screwed on, but it is so firm that it’s pretty much like it is screwed on

so I think as long as you plate the correct layout you’ll be fine

btw here you can see the standoffs on venom are directly attached to the pcb, can’t remove them, but my initial concern (that the plate would hit the standoffs) doesn’t apply so it’s all good

hi, I have for the first time filmed a set of switches (Milky Yellow Pro) - i am not sure how to identify if I have done in properly...if the film is sticking out a bit but does not cause any problem with the stem (bottom out and full release), is that OK or have I done it incorrectly?

Okay there’s a pretty impressive difference in build from the old 60he to 60he+ prebuilt. I got my new 60he today and the stabs and switches are such a big difference to og days

If I have the LED lights on overhead the color changes based on the temperature of my lights (they tend to move from white to yellow based on the time of the day, thats how I set it up in the philips hue app).

Hey all, I've known I wanted to upgrade to a heavy case, so I was going to grab a Tofu60 redux before the minor sale is over today. I currently have a stock Wooting 60he (that I love). I always wanted a retro off-white looking case, but I think I'll settle for the Anodized Grey Tofu60 with grey keycaps.

I wanted to share what I was looking to buy, to make sure I'm not leaving anything out. Also, I'm in Canada, so if anyone has suggestions for cases/stores where I won't get dinged for customs and USD conversion, please let me know!
