Yours uses the Lekker V1. All HE switches are linear anyways. You can switch to the Lekker V2 or Geon RAW or Gateron Jade / Jade Pro / Max. Or some others but those are the most well known ones. What is the reason you want to change the switches?

mainly cause ive, spilled a drink or two on the keyboard, and even though ive thoroughly cleaned it and relubed the switches, it no longer feels the same anymore, and a couple of the switches are sticking

figure its been at least 3 years maybe, so fuck it why not

time to replace them all

The space bar is the worst part of the keyboard imho. The stabs in particular and it sounds a bit too hollow. You put some tape in the space bar and it gets better. You can easily find videos for that. You basically just put some tape in it. Sparing the points where the switch and the stabs go in of course and the shine through part. However greasing the stabs is #1 👍

Jade Max should be the same as normal Jades. You can use long pole or you can just push the old stabs in the keycap firmly.

Which over time I didn’t like the sound and had issues with them pressing keys without me touching them

It would fix when I switched to a different switch

So I decided to just switch back to my stock switches

Keys not registering, pressing themselves and so on can happen due to the actuation point and keycap weight. Also if something is bent. And in my case it was simply the 60HE not calibrating for new switches, which I fixed by a hard reset.

I did not change the stabs. I prefer screw ins but it does not really matter from what I read.
TX AP can sometimes cause issues because it is a very tight fit with the 60HE apparently. However some say they fit just fine. Knight V2 seem to be easier

Personal experience from bulding 5 or 6 custom keyboards.

I tried several stabs, from screw-ins to plate-mount.
The difference of screw-ins and plate-mounted, other the mount itself, is that "usually" screw-ins are a tight fit because of the screws, where plate-mount, since they clip in, they may not be very "stable" or a tight fit.
If you really tune a plate-mounted, doing the bandage mod or something similar, where you make them really really tight, there's no difference between screw-ins and plate-mounted.

For the TX APs plate mount, i can say that they were very tight ( i had no issues installing them ) to a point where its one of the best stabs that i worked with ( best stabs for me are the ones that require less tune )

I have here also a set of TX AP screw-ins but i decided the plate mounted were good enough. But tbh honest, after you tune different stabs like Durock's, EG Pandas and so on and so on, they will be very very similar to each other. The only variable is what i said, how much tune you need to do and that defines how good they are out of the box.

There's no going wrong with the TX APs, but i did read that some people weren't able to install them, which was not my case.

but the thing is, I immediately spring swapped to these springs when I received the switches, so I think lubed stock springs are just as good

My spacebar's switch mounting point on my top plate is a little too large, and I contacted them for a replacement so the switch fits tight. Wooting sent me this.

"I'd like to examine if this is caused by the tolerance on PCB and the PC plate.

I figured I wanted to go all out with the 80HE so I got the raw case with it and currently looking for keycaps. As I understand it the go to is to get a GMK set? & I found these GMK Sumi's that I really really like but I am having difficulty understanding all the layouts

I think wooting has a video on their YT, you basically wanna unscrew the assembly from the case, take the plate/pcb apart by removing the standoff screws, then take your switches out, put them in the new plate, and then follow the steps in reverse

you can start by taking the module out of the case, flip it over and there should be a couple of screws on the back of the pcb

you can unscrew them and it simply just comes apart

swap over your switches and screw it back together

if you have the foam/silicone, it should show you where the standoffs go

if you have one of the wooting plates (pc or steel) the standoffs don't come off like they do on kbdfans and other plates

so you should just have to unscrew the module, flip it over, and there's 8 screws on the back that are easy to see, they have a small circle around them iirc

so idk how you wouldn't know where they are

either way they're in the same spots, you just wanna take the screw out from the pcb side and the standoff should stay screwed into the plate

if you're swapping to the CF plate now you can take the assembly out

remove the screws from the stock plate

and install the standoffs on the kbdfans in the same spots, and use the foam like @robust siren said to make sure it'll fit

the standoffs on the stock plates don't come off so take that plate off, remove the switches, and line it up with the cf plate and install the standoffs in those spots
