raws better
thats the whole reason i looked into the raws, only then did i realize they were such a good price
what are some good thick cream keycaps ?
keebmat arrived 🥳
ay same
does anyone have experience with 40 gram geon raws? im buying from Divinikey (50 grams are sold out) since im also getting different items at the same time and shipping from Geon is a little expensive for just switches
may i see a picture?
i originally was gonna get a medium grey to "match" my case
but i decided a light grey as well cus it fits my overall setup/desk
o yeah that looks real nice
I took 60% and it does fit very nice with good margins
yeah i got 60% as wlel
tbh
i thought the 60 would barely fit
but i was wrong
fits well
Idk who had the keebmat that almost didn't fit their board
Aaah right
although he has like a tofu and a salvation
i think he needs another a bigger size for bauer
just a guess
Is there a preference you like in your springs?
i would like something lighter than the lekker60s, they are a bit heavy when im typing a lot
geon has a discount code
shipping costs the same as the switches 🥲
50g is a good choice but i also think jumping from 60 to 40 is huge
but then at the same time you could also possible like the 40 as well
acutally shipping is more than just the switches alone lol
is*
are you planning to get like a bigger one?
cus i swore someone said that
oh keebmat
i just dont remember who
I thought you meant evil dolch
who
I misread
na na
surprisingly there's a difference i can hear between with or without keebmat even on a deskpad
I will get a bigger keebmat sometime but probably tkl
mmk
to fit everything better
ima stick with a small layout for a really long time
i mean
Wooting doing me well with the mod taps and everything
still want need a mx board tho
i guess i can buy the 40 grams and if i decide theyre too light i can get the geon spring replacement set
i thought i was gonna miss the f keys and arrows when going 60%, it's such a nice layout cuz i don't have to move my hands as much
no clue
havent decide yet
cus im still wanting to like finishing up my wooting build
it's getting there
hmm i would go 50g, it's a safe middleground
I want to finish my wooting till i get a new MX board
LekkerCry
Just need to get some curve domed bumpons as my feet replacements and the CF plate that frijoles gonna send me
ik CAM is runnign 60A
no clue abt the others lul
when u wanna play
@polar girder what tadpoles did you end up using
guuy
what are some thick pbt cream coloured keycaps
you've asked me like three times and i've said yes every time
i've been waiting on you lol
damn
when u wanna play tho
no]

alright, thanks ill just wait for the restock then
you can look at some cannonkeys keycaps
like the NicePBT
or CannonCaps
50a
Ngl I just swapped to the softest ones and said fk it lol
So idk how they all compare just figured would help with lowest softest sound
Whats the range of the tadpole hardness?
50-90
not as hard as I'll be when I get the frog
I got the 60a tadpoles along with the default ones, I think I will just use 60a right away
what are the default a?
80
hello everyone, im looking for a chanell with info/or_links with the stuff yall bought to mod it, is there any? i cant find
never modded a keyboard, just want to change the looks (maybe)
has anyone done a transparent build?
have a transparent pc plate and im kind of inspired
i think out of any board wooting's pcb is the one thats worthy of being showcased the most
#🪛│modding_faq and check pinned messages as well
oh yeah the pinneds are it! thank you!
Could i also mod the rk m75? So like that its profitable?
Like i dont really need the wooting features, and its very pricey
Are red or brown switches better?
mostly translucent
usually never actually transparent
?
what do you mean so that "its profitable"
Its 120€ keyboard so i thought if it is profitable if I use different switches/keycaps
Like, is it a good kb for the price
again
what do you mean by profitable
ur not turning a profit anywhere
do you plan to sell the board?
That it gets good
it's profitable to get a job
Like is it a goad bord?
I found that using the softest ones made it so the case pings less
but he probably means the value of the keyboard
ahhhh
then no
dont get a royal kludge
ever
ahh I see
hope that helps
Yes, its only 120 so is it worth to mod
no
u want something to have a good base to mod on?
get a reliable barebones kit
used the stock ones for a long time - changed to 50a and the ping was reduced drastically
Why?
it's a good thing I grabbed the 60a ones
Wtf
incredibly bad quality
Lmao
yup
L company
dont get a royal kludge
Nice. Solid. Thanks.
is my advice
Ok thanks
I wouls say don't get those cheaper brands, not only Royal Kludge but many of them uses shitty batteries
Do you know a good kb for 120-150€?
do u want something to mod
or just a solid prebuilt
Fking hell that’s gorgeous
So i can upgrade in future
I dont know what that is, i look it up
he just means hotswap
kits exist that are soldered
@cold bloom I believe you want to buy a venom60he pcb when they are in stock? or did you mean geon's new frog leggera cases
no idea what u mean by that
he wants a prebuilt
that can be upgraded in the future
fair
My dream kb would be thocky/creamy switches with ceramic keycaps
thocky creamy switches dont exist
i assume u just mean any old nylon bottom switches
the actual board (around the switches) and sound editing is what makes that sound profile ur looking for
I want the thockiest clackiest dreamiest creamiest switch
Oh ok, i didnt know
ehhh i want that + marbly
that would be perfect
What base would you recommend for that?
Yes
he means stock
And then upgrade it
not pcb as "base"
Ok thx
did you know that venom60he can have the 7u spacebar and split backspace?
@stone flax
pcb could be sub70
you mean the price?
yeah, just not sure if it's as snappy as wooting in terms of latency and all that stuff
i mean
it has better potential than current 60he
from just raw numbers
higher scan and poll
banned to death
imagining a 60he pro with the split backspace layout (forgot how its called) and without rgb
thats the big reason im interested in leggera
the layout for the 60he is just so sad
no 7u no tsangan no split shifts
no split bs

well its understandable since it's a very popular mainstream keyboard, but it's nice to get HE but with all the cool things like 7u and tsangan
gamers have to get convinced bigger spacebar equals better
better ctrl and alt aswell
smaller windows key so less fat fingering it

and alt is bigger so if you need it for games it's good
Yeah I still think 60he layout looks cleaner
Personally never have issues with fat fingering windows key
Even without setting the actuation to 4mm
do u have multiple versions of the hangul?
do you know if geon's 60% pcbs release at a later point with the leggera cases?
cause I see the preorder pages and they're all out of stock, so I dunno if I'm late or actually early
no clue but ik theyre similar enough dates
oct-nov
maybe later
ah k
pre order is korea only i think
late september is a possibility
well supposed to be for Korea
I did order from the korean store so it's fine for me
idk what to get between these 3
all pbt fans
i am very used to the big backspace tho... so not entirely set on it
thats why layout support matters
u can choose what u want
rather than having it chosen for you
yeah but the big spacebar sounds so nice
where should i get a plate from for my wooting 60
I use wootings black PC plate
But kbdfans sells fr4 and carbon plates
i want an allu plate
That I do not know where to get
kbdfans have black alu plates that fit wooting
im trying to hear the diff on these yt vids but the have the worlds worst keyboards
so u cant tell the diff
also i cant hear a diff between cf and allu
I did order it but haven't tried it yet cause I was waiting for raws
but soon frog will arrive and it'll have an alu plate too so I might just build in it
steel blows icl
Had a quick question about a particular mod since im rather new to this all, I was planning on picking up my first 60he soon and am currently planning out my mods, i plan on doing a gummy o-ring mount in a metal case and was wondering if applying the tape mod would still benefit the sound, or if that was more for post mounting builds?
is this ur kohaku
It will effect the sound still
best lube on springs?
Anyone here with the ttc king of magnetic on the 60he?
hail no
i mean yeah someone
idk who
they are pricey
and i dont like em at all
like the swap stem idea is interesting but for the price and how it soiunds hail no
I use 205g0
bag lubing with oil is faster but I dont want to deal with oil
I also use 205g0, but if you're bag lubing 105 oil works well
i use $7 superlube from amazon
spring oil barely matters in comparison to wire grease and especially to switch lube
Does that work also for the switches?
I was tempted to buy that
I just got the wooting 60he for my birthday in a few days and was wondering if I should keep the stock lekker 60s or buy different switches that are better. If you guys have any recommendations please let me know
depends on shipping for u
if its cheap sure, if it isnt then just stick with the lekkers
Dawg
What are you looking to do? Deepen the sound? Make it more clacky?
Them additives make my springs STRONG.
Same performance but better sound
Or better performance better sound
So im guessing a more deeper thocky sound?
Yes
stick with the lekkers
Tough to get much thock out of HE switches
Chat
Personally get a fr4 or PC plate first. Should deepen the tone. (15-30 bucks).
gosh this is gonna hurt
Doesn't have to be prefect since the stabs all have a decent amount of giv
Buy wires that are straight 🧠
no moni
I bought like 2 sets of gateron stabs and the space bar wire was never straight
buy keyboard that aren't
tweezers
flat surface
test test
twist twist
done
what about the main body of the wire
if ur wires are bent that way its cooked
💀
reverse bend
how tho?
How's your 2u wire not straight
no clue
how shit must wires to be to not be rigid enough of a 2u
just found out
ikr
everytime i hold down the left side of the wire either side it just notice its warped
but there's no warp when i hold right
wym
balance one side if balancing both is difficult
just make sure the balanced side is facing up when inserted
so much nerd stuff
Which are better? Gateron Magnetic Jade or Geon Raptor MX
Out of just those two? Jades but really it's Raw HEs as they are cheaper and better then jades depending on shipping
you mean raptor he, cause MX is not magnetic
Yea
yeah get geon raw he instead of geon raptor he or jades
Should they be this cheap
@uneven cradle
shipping aint cheap for them
Yeah use code WOOT
and maybe buy a couple extra maybe
Bruh can I only pay with PayPal
where are you
divinikey
K
@harsh dove what do you recommend for the geon raw he the 40,50,60g ?
My shift key clicks when i press on the extremes
this is probably the stems of the keycaps going deeper onto the stab stems
if you press with force on the side
thought it happened only on my shift lol, i only noticed the shift looking not even. it happens on keys with stabs except for spacebar
reduced travel
i would need some long pole stabs then
what's the bottom out force on your current switches?
yeah this could mean you need long pole stabs
it only happens when i apply a lot of force, so i don't think that's gonna bother me much
Spring weight will only depend on your preference. You can't really rely on other people ideal spring weight cus you won't be able to know if they are heavy or too light for you.
You would usually find your ideal preference depending on what your current spring weight would be on your current switches. If you're using a 60g switch as of right now for example and you like it so far, then buy the 60g. If you think it's heavy however then you would go for 50g. Same thing for 50g and up or down.
is it only that key?
make sure it doesn't happen with the others
That would be the occuring issue that other users have with the Jades
only keys with stabs with the exception of spacebar, spacebar is fine for some reason
but the others arent?
yeah it does that with the others
Well I suppose using spacers or getting long pole stabs would be the solution
I personally dont have that problem
well
actually i do
slightly
but not noticeable to the point it's a problem at all
Currently I have the jades
I have a theory that if you can somehow press the stab stems into the keycaps further, then you won't need long poles
but it's hard to do after the stabs are installed as there is no way to access the bottom of the stab stem after installation
So I believe 3.6 mm
the jades bottom out with 50g of force
force*
Understood yeah I think I may just do 60g
Do you like the spring weight of the jades or do you want to go heavier?
My bad lol
how do you feel about the jades?
I think they are actually nice
If you like it a bit heavier then you can go for 60g
otherwise if you like the jade springs then go for 50g
50g is a sweetspot
i personally use 60g
Makes sense
Yeah I used the lekker v1.5 and I liked it
Didn’t feel too much of a difference tbh
I ordered 50g raws but also geon's all three he spring packs, 42.5g, 52.5g, 62.5g
I thought they don’t even sell them?
that's a while ago
I ordered from the korean store, but now he sells them on international
Since it’s the cheapest shipping to US
Yeah sold out currently
I may pick up the 60g tbh
CAM paid for mine and his to send it to my place so i can pay his shipping to send his set to him
i'd wait if you really want the 50g
I don’t think I’d be able to tell the difference if I’m being really honest
@fluid ravine what do you think about this? I think the issue with shorter travel switches is that the stab stems are unable to completely enter the keycap stems
so if you somehow was able to push them in, you won't have any issues
this is actually somewhat true
yes this can happen
your theory isn't wrong
Yknow what you could do
need to think of a way to try and push them in lol
you canbuy the set of 60g and if you find it too heavy anyways
you can spring swap your jades into your raws
i mean keycap tolerance also matter for this case dont it?
yeah ig my theory works for proper quality keycaps
cause bad ones will probably wobble no matter what
yup correcto!
Cheaper keycaps will show more effect
Usually cheaper keycaps would have worse tolerance. And people who uses jades with normal stabilizer travel with cheaper keycaps and has problems are the ones who notified that problem.
It's mostly the keycap's fault on why they keep coming loose on the shorter travel distance switch
yeah I notice it only if I press with force on my gmk
I want to try long poles of my TX AP stabs in stock ones or smth
yeah same
ill make a vid rq
though my dad is watching the NFL rn
LOL
Interesting ok ok
I have this issue on my GMMK compact board
Is has clipped stock plate mount stabs with Akko V3 Yellow Creams
it's really noticeable
and pretty bad
yeah kinda want long poles now lol
yeah..
even if I don't notice it in real use
well i also notice a problem in my stabs
my stabs dont bottom out all the way
I assume long poles would also be better balanced and might sound better
i think the problem with my spacebar doesn't sound even or like one side is higher pitched is bc one side is fully bottoming out somehow while the other isnt
yeye
when i took the oring out and look between the plate and pcb
as i press down the spacebar it doesn't even bottom out
making it sound weird
so plate mounts bottom out too? never thought abt this
yeah they should
dont stabs not bottom out?
i mean i should get a lekker switch and test it out rq
I guess they do since ppl used to clip the legs on cherry stabs
should verify if it's the real problem or not
oh wait spacebar also wobbles
pcb mount stabs makes sense
but plate mounts should as well
its like one guarantees while the other doesn't
I actually tried different material stickers when I was installing my stabs and it sounded differently, so they bottom out for sure
kinda
l60 bottoms out all the way
yeah
the stems arent physically longer most of the time on he
They just bottom out at a higher point
u cant force the stabs stems down when the switch itself is already fully down
thus it causes seesawing
closed and semi closed bottom out HE switch have different floor thickness
The only way to fix that is to level it
thats exactly what i said
maybe I can just sand down my TX AP stabs to make them fit wooting plates lol
lol
cause I have TX AP long poles, clip-ins and screw-ins
Franken Stab
Cherry Clip In housing and TX AP long pole stem
lul
yeah yeah I might try it
I have cherry clip-ins too
havent opened them yet
yeah you should def try it
TX AP Long Pole Plate Mount Stabilizers are kin25's adaptation of the clip-in long pole stabilizers to a plate mount form by reducing the total travel distance of the stabilizers. These "Almost Perfect" stabilizers features improvements to the housing and stem to fit the wire better, reduce wobble, as well as reduce un
need myself these
or different long pole plate mount stabs
yeaaa
it'd be better if they sell seperate long pole stems
unless
there is
lemme check
ah darn
idk where
guess i need to buy a new set of stabs
I have some long pole tx ap plate mount stabs
did anyone here have a bad experience with cerakey v2s or is it all just word of mouth?
noice
@quiet bay idk which set you have but ima ping you anyways
lmao
no bad experience so far
i dont think I've heard anything bad so far either
only v1s were bad
there were quite a few ppl shi talking them the last time i was here
there could be some inconsistencies with some keycaps in v2 set but you could ask for replacement
but all of it was hearsay
and they will send for free
no one actually got v2s
yeah
all i know is that they are the thockiest keycaps u can get
ye 👍
so if i use them with my zinc case i could getting a thockier noise from my wooting
yes you can in fact get a deeper sound profile with them
besides having a taller keycap profile
maybe use the GUGU black knights since they seem to have the lowest sound profile
i mean its cherry profile right?
shouldnt be an issue
yeah
is there like a superior profile that i dont know about? lol
naw
just
diff keycap profile
can lead to diff sound as well
if u dont like taller keycap profiles then cerakeys is good
i mean if the cerakeys are known to produce the thockiest sound and thats why they were made im assuming that u cant get a thockier keycap no?
Usually taller keycap profiles that are thick and made out of PBT are really deep
But I think Cerakeys does that better
cus different material and you can still keep the cherry profile you need
yeah if cerakeys does it better then theres nothing to worry about :)
and the zinc case will hopefully make the thock louder
yes explain it better than me xd
They do the job, will probably get a module at some point with screw ins though
Either brighter or just more alive
I really liked the pcr case with raw hes
Yeah seems like I should get cerakeys but for some reason I don’t love them
yeah ive seen some thocks that are deep because they are quiet and muted, its not as fun that way
Meh
pcr sounded lower but it also gave off the vibe of being quieter
dead thocks are just horrible to be honest
they sound cheap
usually cause they are
the charactertics of having a low and deep sound just doesn't sound good at all
js hella foam
yeah
low and deep is the same thing lol. quiet and deep blows
I think my thocc has life...
like you want something that sounds alive with a bit of "umph"
that's the thock you want
but the thock people seemed to fail to understand is the ones that are dead
hell yeah!
fk preference
reeee!!!
That’s a the thock YOU want
i dont think ive met someone who enjoys a thock because its quiet though

fk
You’re looking at him
I want it quiet AF
y’all just some keyboard nerds - respectfully lol
lmao mine is NOT quiet at all
why not just silent switches then
I wish lol
i dont even own a keyboard bruh
HE silent doesn’t exist
more like it does but cant even get them cus they're not compatible!! haha
dampening switches with silicon sounds kinda trash
ok but then its safe u say that ur currently enjoying a deeper noise for its quietness rather than the quiet thocc noise itself right?
Well I tried those silent switches off that one keyboard
But they sounded like shit lol
I dont like silent switches cause then you just hear the sound of you pressing down the stem and it makes me feel icky, idk
they have a different allure to them. seems great for a work / office board lowkey
I’m not exactly sure what you’re trying to say here but I want what noise exists to be low in tone. But I also want it low volume.
like just thocks but with sound deadner
like building a board that thocks then you just like add kilmat as case foam to lower the volume type shi
idk smth like that i suppose
yes. allow me to clarify
you like the thocc noise you have now because its the quietest noise u can get in an HE
you dont like thocc becaise the noise itself is thoccy
therefore you dont enjoy thoccy, but you enjoy the quieter sounds of a thoccy board since u cant get silent yet
Like input kilmat at the bottom of my case, use foam for plate, oil tf out of my springs, use open bottom switches, soft plastic plate and alternative mounting just to make it as quiet and low tone as possible
Ok
😵💫
now that's something i understand
I’m over thock
the hell is "thocc noise" lol
buzzword
I’m never going to use that word again i think lol
the 2 c's just gets me
deeper notes

o lawd
btw any experiences on the GUGU black knights vs RAW HEs? it seems like GUGU has a lower sound profile from what ive heard but i havent heard anything about its stem wobble / tolerances and if its factory lubing is good (if it even has factory lubing) compared to the RAW HEs (which is what they were praised for)
do u like low volume / low tone more than just silent?
Raw is the better switch by all objective measures
Idk bro lol
well how do you achieve lower pitch if not by using different mounting and foams that reduce higher end
Yeah thock is too damn charged
So much drama around silly word lol
GIVE ME ALL THE THOCC
get raws, rely on something else than switches for sound
mounting style keycaps foam config etc….
alright, Raws for now it is until i get thocc switches
one day
itll happen
they dont exist rn
yeah ik that why i said one day
literally the only “thock” achieved is hollow
this is what I thought of lekkers on day 1 with my wooting
theres a difference in trying to solely reducing the higher end and trying to mute the sound enough that all you can hear is the resonance of the lower end
I understand, but I think in keyboards there is not much you can do to lower the pitch without reducing higher frequencies
there are deeper sounding switches I guess, but they are mostly MX
yep, thats why i try to build a board that produces as little of the higher frequencies as possible, that way it takes less effort and dampening to remove the higher frequencies and thus creating a more prominent deep noise
i aint gonna lie my eyes are killing me
may i interest you in some eyedrops?
your no pfp makes it so harder for me to read things for some damn reason 😂
guh
aahaha

watch this
yeah there are a lot of cool keyboard products that get run once / a few times and dont pop up again
nawwww 😭
thats my point
in stock not so much
its unfortunate
more so kits
<3
Fr
was considering both, def gonna get a case tho
sounds good
I was just interested in venomhe pcb and discussed with mjj
yeah, but ig in a huge customization market and hobby like this it was a given itd end up that way to make more money
it's cool that it offers diff layouts
Ill be honest
yeah agreed
ok i brought my name back
yep im js trying to "kill it" less
hey i js thought of something funny
what if i made my board so the left half is thoccy while the right half is clacky
yeah no, to get that u need a lot of mass in the board already or a less resonant case
might try using denser plates, cause they increase volume, but gotta be careful so they don't make it brighter
so
deeper plate
mass in case
less resonant case material
more absorbent mount
are pretty much ur options without considering foam
Which has been the nobrainer method
eh
my base idea is try and make a build that produces as little high pitched frequencies that i can then finding almost every method to absorb those higher frequencies w/o killing too much of the sound
desner plates do sound like a good idea though

but not to keen on the less resonant case, i feel like thatd remove too much volume
Ill be real
It will take a year for he to sound like this foamless
acoustics in mind has kind always come second to feel and performance
Yo I can’t remember if I ever tried Raptor housing with black knight stem
and everything applied here is just standard gh60 practice
probably but i waited a few years for a wooting board with arrow keys so i can wait longer
I feel like it didn’t work but I can’t remember
I thought it didnt work
this guy is so locked in when typing
he runs predictions on his wpm’s
taeha so old

yep
My Raws come in tomorrow, then time for some housing and spring swapping
my D key is like bugging out when moving in Val
could it be the switch?
cuz i reset it and it still does it
https://geon.works/products/geon-stem-spacer?srsltid=AfmBOoqm0QiKl6GzV_9y938aLZepNeu6HX7kNFH0djn3aRBzJHmGg7BI
Are these needed with Raws on stock stabs with raws being 3.4mm travel?
Is the tofu 60 redux a good case I should get for my wooting
Sometimes yes if you have loose keycaps, otherwise no
can I interchange switches and still use snap tap?
as long as the keycaps are magnetic
Snap Tap is part of the software aka wootility which will be saved in your PCB. So even if you change the HE switches you will be able to use them. Just make sure the HE switch compatible which you can find in this list #🪛│modding_faq message
danke
🙏
Keycaps are not magnetic, it does not have any affect on the HE board itself.
stock wooting keycaps should be ok?
generally yeah
most of the reports with loose keycaps were from people buying cheapie clones and such

now full POM magneto might be a bit better
I think standard magneto sounds too sharp and plasticky
Original material?
dunno
So it begins... XD
well that's one way to use the wrist rest
Thanks pham, now all we need is a 100HE so I'll have to do this all over again.. 😄
i'm really tempted to prep my stabilizers too for 80he, but the space bar stab is too big for my storage boxes when assembled lol
hey
I just put polyfil into the bottom of my case
I just wanted to know if its 100% safe to have it in with the wooting 60he?
It is but it depends on what type of case
You can't have polyfill on your PCB if that is what youre asking
But it is 100% safe if u polyfill the case
But make sure it is cured b4 you slap ur PCB in
tofu60 redux
like
the polyfil is under my PCB
(I have tape modded)
wdym by cured?
He means no gooey foam stuff
make sure it's up to date with covid shots

I want real help 😔
If you polyfill
You gotta wait for the polyfill to cure no?
aa
Basically it means if you don;t wait it to cure and u just slap that shit in
Your PCB chips will get either fried or
It will get stuck by the silicone
Then its all good but make sure polyfill dries up
How can I do that?
u wait ?
then it shld be cured alrdy
by cured you mean set in a position?
yes
👍
goated keyboard
and at such a good price
Can someone share their 60HE with black and white magnetic wave keycaps?
@glacial wind you didn't mention the import duty-free from Korea
i'm glad i have the money, and i'm sure the switches are worth that money 🙂
huh? What are you talking about
you mean geon switches?
GEON Raw HE Switch
oh yeah that's going to be totally up to your country
some countries have none, some do
can't wait to recieve them !
i have that package tracked on PayPal, DHL emails and WhatsApp
My geon raw HEs arrive on Wednesday woooo
when did you place your order joosh?
Where you from?
Australia is closer to Korea than France
Paris France ! 🙂
Oh the EU then nvm
If you were close to us you could've needed to pay lesser shipping in terms of the country
Import tax
This metal noise is so bad, i can't wait to replace the switches 😩
It means i dont gotta pay VAT or import tax
Afaik for my country you don't pay unless the value is over 1000 aud
Ours here are any value
You still don't kgotta pay
Rip that sucks
unless its a heavy ass shipment
Yeah fair
and if it is commercial
I see I see
you'r so lucky, not to be in the third world like me in France
France is technically
FIrst world
Its due to their taxes and the EU regulation they have to follow
"technically"
If without that and they have some sort of trade agreement
I dont see an issue
Cuz Singapore has loads of smart trade agreement rules since we lead ASEAN
30Euros for a 50Euro package 🤣
Yuckkk
Welp RIP{
At least i'll be one of the lukciest person who got this switches in EU 🙂
Ahaha true
I got mine for 27 USD
pack of 70 with RAW HE 60G switch
im happy with the 60 as it is
Starting on that finger training grind
60s are not bad but you gotta get used to it
Which takes a while, for the 50's its a inbetween
mine are 40g, should cost less!
I used cherry MX blues for 12 years hahaha
Na theyre about the same here
And I've been using the lekker 1.5s on the 2he for like a week or so now
The initial force before bottoming out is like
36 grams
So youre kinda lucky on that
Idk what to compare it to hahaha
Compare the RAW HE to the jades
Haven't used jades
Just lekker 1.5, cherry MX blue and random membrane stuff
I'm sure the raws will feel good
lekker switch i'm using L45, has a metal part that touch the plate and make metalic noise, that's hurts my feelings so bad 😦
Mmmmm fair hahaha
toughen up, princess, it's really not that bad. Or just do what I did and get Wooting's PC plate

O thats cuz of the
Stabilizer
You get stabilizer ping
That why i'm bad at Deadlock, i'm tell him my friend 😇
nono, it's a terrible feelings, and noise. both under finger and in my hears !
idk what's that
ur*
this ?
nono it's the bottom part of the switches, that moving part that hits the keyboard plate when poressing all the way down
well the space bar doesn't
Enter and backspace too
Make a recording and send it to me or here
and ping me
ima hear it
It isnt
It just makes a clack sound and thats it
I dont usually hear metal pinging sounds
whenever i use it im rn running a steel plate b4 that as well
a magnet striking the plate thousands of times is probably not a good idea
But the thing is its bottom down and its right into the PCB
So no way
Its def the stabilizer or the springs sound
100% stabilizer
@paper bloom we can't really hear it from the recording
there is no stabilizer on the keys, only space bar and other big keys
Its the stabilizer rattling
The space bar and the other big keys
like the delete key
has it
the noise that i don't like is not audible in the recording lol
Even the shift key has it
Is it at 0.06?
it's a "metalic" noise
YEA its the stabilizer 100%
yeah, that's the space abr nosie at 6s
i like that noise 🙂
O then thats okay
the other keys make a very high frequency noise...
All im hearing is just the clack sound
which is very bad in my ears
and the metalic noise from the spacebar
if it isnt the stabilizer
it has to be the spring or somethig idk
I think you better ask someone regarding this just incase
it's like metal against metal noise..., very little but very present
Is it like a spring sound metal noise or?
the stabilizer are doing great, also prevent key been pressed all the way down i feel, it's just great
it's the small magnet at the bottom of the switches, it touch the plate...
i was about to order the Jad switches, but i know it's not better for wobble compare to the one i have, so a gentle man advice me to get the "GEON Raw HE Switch"
2-3 days to wait...
i'll let you know in a few days 🙂

It def isnt
Its def the plate itself
Cuz sound travels
Bro lekker switches dont hit on metal
Its literally at the bottom
how u gonna hit metal?
NotlikeThis... Now i should buy a real microphone lol
You legit got clearence
well it's not metal, but it sounds like metal to metal noise
Or any case in that matter of fact?
it's just the basic wooting 60he+ mod plate
So its a stock ?
i guess yes
I remember having that issue for the v1 lekker
But i dont remember having to hearing a ping unless it is a stabilizer ping
If not it cld be a switches youre putting too much force into them
Or its the plate itself
steel plate pings
its no biggie
guy just yapping
wait
nah this isnt da steel plate then
yeah i know, but still the little magnet hit the plate and make a metalic noise
it doesnt do that
bottom housings are whats on make contact on the plate from their side and no part of the stem makes contact with the pcb
this is just confusion
thats spring ping
just bag lube with 105 or a similar oil
to remedy that
ok, will try that Thx for your helps !
erm you are not rivions
i am rivions
Hello everyone, I would like to know if the 3.5mm driving point can be installed on the wooting? Will there be any problems?
do you mean a 3.5mm bottom out length for that switch?
if so yes
assuming it's a compatible switch in the first place
TTC Magneto
Sorry, I'm talking to you through a translator. Forgive my poor English.
yes
better switches exist for cheaper
So should my keyboard driving point avoid the 3.6mm~4.00mm area?
you don't have to avoid it
think of 0-4mm as 0-100% instead of mm
for even if your switch is 3.5mm travel it's still 0-100% (just ignore that it says 0-4mm, this will be fixed in future wootility update)
It doesnt ping for me tho
i think he has jades and is worried about 0-3.5mm travel being less than 4mm, but doesn't know wootility treats it as 0-100%
Now i have ordered 105g lube, key and switch puller, switch opener... 🙂

they'll fix the display in future wootility 5 at some point, just question of when really
glad it's customizable
i like that they gave reviewers access to wootility 5 at least so we'll get to see it in action in the reviews before 80he arrives
where did u but 105?
yeah they're fine
Yeah
Ur good
it'd be funnier if you bought 105 grams of lube instead of 105 oil though
you'd have enough lubricant for the rest of your life
and Gateron switch opener, some1 on reddit said it's the good one..
the squeeze style ones?
well i have a bike, that could use it !
yes
ive heard people use engine oil lmao
i got 5L of 5w40 in my basement
hahaha
i was looking for that kind of discount, "viscosity index" is not 105g... i gave up
what 105g means?
According to Copilot it could be "grade of lubricant" used to indicate a medium-thickness grease suitable for mechanical keyboard switches...

10$ for 5ml of Oil..
f
This is a good explanation. That is (4/3.5)*the distance I need to adjust?
