You can get any stabs to sound good, it’s just that some stabs are easier to tune. I don’t remember using Cherry clip ins so can’t really say. Afaik people just balance wire then lube them and call it a day.

A mega long time ago when the 60HE came out there was a good amount of talk about spring swapping when only the green lekkers were out but I've not checked back or been using this server for some time but yeah about a year ago I got with a mfg in china and they started producing a fair amount of different weight springs.
