As far as I know, for many new Chinese magnetic keyboard, they have 0.01 sensitivity which makes low wobble switches more important. But with wooting I think it is fine.

It’s just if you prefer less wobble you can use jade or magneto

it's just bragging right settings mostly. All the hm/rakka etc boards use artificial deadzone when you enable 0.01 to compensate for it being too sensitive - so you end up near 0.1 anyway

Yeah, that’s essentially just a stem swapped Raptor. The Black Knight or Raptor top housing is the cause of the reduced wobble so you use them with most bottom housings and achieve the same result.

the issue is it looks like either the usb c port shielding got bend to shit or the entire plastic insert of the usb-c somehow bent the shielding (which i wouldnt believe as the tongue sticking in the middle prob would break before that)

my best guess is that during the friction mount the usb c port got bent and forcing it in just made it worse (worst part is this could easily be not noticed cause its well a friction mount)

Lubing is great, even switches with ‘good’ factory lubing benefit a lot from doing your own lubing by hand.

On the other hand, most good modern switches don’t require or benefit from filming. I would say it’s overrated, and while cheap, it is not worth the time/headache.

The most important thing overall is eliminating rattle. Thats just easier with certain brands/types of stabilizers than others. You can still do it with any standard stabilizer given enough love and time and ofc lube

You can still get really good plate mounted stabs though.
Ie: TX AP Plate Mounted stabilizers have tight tolerances and require relatively little work, although they aren’t ‘cheap’ as far as stabilizers go. Like I said, with enough love/care and lube you can make the stock wooting plate mounted stabs sound nice.

I was cleaning them cause i was trying out different amounts of lube on my stabs (dieletric grease) to see what i like and over lubed them, i should be able to get them buttery smooth soon.
