He switches are a bit easier to remove I find. Take the assembly out of the case by removing the screws then unscrew the pcb from the plate, separate the 2 then either push the switches out carefully from below or use a switch puller which is generally easier on your hands

Mx builds you can’t really separate the pcb and plate before taking switches out cause of the way the pins secure into the pcb

I previously used a HyperX Alloy Origins Core, which has a 3-degree angle and didn't cause this issue. I'm considering returning the Wooting and getting a module to adjust the angle to 3 degrees. You can get the PC plate from wooting it is a bit less stiff but still stiff enough
