The only time there was a bad thing about it was that it used to have ceramic stems thay would damage the switches because of how tight it was but thats been long solved now because they have plastic stems now

Open bottom housing has a full 4mm travel distance as a closed bottom housing can be shorten depending on how long the stem is or how thick the bottom out platform is.

In terms of sound however, most or pretty much all open bottom housing has a neutral or lower pitch. Closed bottom housing however has a higher pitch sound, pretty much similar to a long pole switch.

I got 2 one in whtie and one in pc. white holy 60 rebuild soon get the rest of my parts in for it. my pc got 60he module with gateron ink pro stabs, gmk keycaps, raw he switches, keebtape , keeb silcone thockfilm for switches , silcone pad between the pc plate and 60he pcba. has a poppy marble clack very clean sounding. You can make holy sound with switches keycaps etc. with the ws dashes and ptbfans abs keycaps stock 60he+ module sounds ok. lttl clacky but very muted. Try some different swicthe combo with poron foam, dcx keycap, gmk, pbtfans, new stands ans thockfilm in poron see what kinda sound get get out of it. try thocky/ creamy build. but so far the pc holy build is my fav.

there are open bottom ones too but they are similar to lekkers in terms of sound

As far as I know (not very much lol) it would be a simple case swap. Of course I know sound will be changed and basically worse. Just wondering if there’s any challenges when swapping cases? Do I need to buy any extra parts, is the case quality good? I am planning on going with the anodized purple one with the bottom cover. I will be using PC keycaps and hopefully reuse pads, foam and everything already included in my wooting.
