pe foam mod with Lekkers was bad in my experience, the stem hits the foam and its a nasty sound for a keyboard

with jades it might have some effect, but I would only use pe foam with mx type switches

cuz ik you can run into problems with certain keycaps

I had a weird issue with my wooting this AM when I started my keyboard/PC, the bottom left row of my leds was flickering for some reason lol

I wasn't sure if it was the cable or brightness so I used a shorter cable and lowered brightness but it was still there, I think the usb might not have been fully seated

My default travel distance was 0.8mm on the Lekkers and I never made any mistypes, but on the Jades I bumped it up to 0.9mm (it’s not really 0.9mm because Wootility doesn’t compensate for the shorter travel distance) and also made a seperate profile for typing that’s at 2.2mm.

I put the poron pad in with the switch pad and screwed the assembly together a bit better and made sure to secure the plate screws when I put the standoff screws into the back of the pcb and it seems to be gone lol

Well it depends on what you like, the Gateron Jades are pretty popular as well as their variants, but those are all closed bottom reduced travel switches and you may not like the feel or sound of those. As far as open bottom 4mm travel switches, Stem Swapped Raptors are pretty popular as well as Black Knights, I can’t think of any open bottom switches that have good stem tolerances though unless someone can chime in and share

And there’s also Lekker V2’s coming out soon which will likely be the best open bottom switches in terms of tolerances

Jades are inherently loud or clacky by default , you can try hand lubing the switches and adding some lube to the top housing to reduce the sound a bit

Can also try using kilmat as a case dampener
