Easiest way is to unscrew the plate from the PCB, so they’re separate. Remove the Lekkers from the plate, screw the empty plate back into the PCB, then install the Jades.

If you're lazy you can just straight up just pull the switches out without disassembling anything

few methods would be taking out two switches from the bottom row on both side like windows and control, then taking your thumbs and pull up

or you could also take a switch from the side of the board like |\ and pull up from there

Only screw ins that fit Cherry spec are compatible. Durocks, TX APs and Staebies are wider than Cherry spec. @stray tiger this enough for ya? Better to include them than not: #🪛│modding_faq message

Have them on order. @wary pollen did a build with them already actually. You should check the VOD if it’s still up. (It doesn’t seem like the VOD is still up. Their tolerances are great and the sound is not for everyone. Best way to put it I think)

Thickness varies with the TX ap plate mount stabs as well

They work best with 1.3mm from what it seems, mostly have binding issues with 1.5mm as they're too thick

Because Jades have a total travel of 3.5mm, so when you use regular stabs which have a total travel of 4mm, you can press the stabs further down than the switch. Like the thing in a playground for kids, the beam

With long pole stabs which have a total travel of 3.5mm, the stabs bottom out as the switch does so the seesaw motion is nonexistent. Seesaw is only a problem if your keycaps are loose and can’t hold onto the stab stems, popping off when that happens.

The Raptor HEs will work but they have a stronger magnet than other switches and will feel more sensitive compared to others , I.e. 0.3mm on Lekkers will feel like 0.1mm on Raptors

In the tests I did, the GUGU brand switch works in wooting without any problems. I tested between 0.1mm-4.0mm and without any problems. As a sensation, there is absolutely no stam wobble and it is smoother than leker.

WS dash has an incredibly smooth and beautiful sound with hand lube. Likewise, I tested these switches between 0.1mm-4.0mm and they are smooth.

The sound test with iphone 15 pro seems to have extra boosted the sound. much lower sounds in reality, take this into consideration
