Ok first thing, Jades are similar to a long pole switch which means they are almost a long pole sounding switch. They would usually start off being a clack sounding switch because of the bottom out sound, jades dont have a neutral pitch like the KS20U, Raptors, or Lekker (v2). So you cant really go for thock but you could go for a deep clack.

But remember that mods are used to fix or tune your board into your own preference, recommended mods would be something that is easy and can be undone like the tempest tape mod for example. Otherwise, the most common mods you see people do would be lubing switches and stabs while also case and keycap swapping.
Aesthetic wise would be base on how you would like it to look while being in your budget.

Ok good point, we did have a discussion about this at one point.
Basic thing you should know about DG (ima keep it short cus my dumbass dont know how to spell dielectric consistently) is that it's thicker than 205, which is best for stabilizer wires as it would need alot of lube or really thick grease/lube in order to remove rattle.
DG is good but some stabs like TX AP can't sometime use it due to the stem design being tight and DG would be too thick causing it to be slugish, which is where 205 would come in handy.

Springs bind and have trouble rebounding with thick lube. But would a 100g spring handle it better because it is such a heavy spring.

Usually when I overlube the stab or stab wire, i just remove all the lube/grease off the wire and break in the remaining lube from the stem or stab housing

then slowly apply when needed

it may be time consuming a bit but I like it to be consistent

there could be a better or quicker method but not that i know of, this is just my method^

Masking tape is bad, the tape you should use is fabric medical tape, but it's still very time consuming for not much difference

The fabric medical tape isnt scratchy like other tapes for the switch tape mod, but it's still not worth it

my initial thought is that you can make your switch mushy very easily

I guess you could apply very very small amount on each end of the spring, but not in the middle, since the grease is way denser than recommended for springs

Compatibility isn’t fantastic as they’re only stable until 3.1mm or so (similar to Gateron’s Magnetic FOX switch). The snapping from 3.25mm to 4.00mm you see (highlighted with the green arrow in the last image) is the firmware, not the actual switch. Hopefully this will be resolved when a “switch select” option is released.

A magnet reads the same (in Analog Monitor) regardless of polarity. A switch that reads as 3mm at bottom out will do so too when its magnet is flipped.
