Haven't tried burger mount but I can attest to friction being great

Burger mount still uses screws like standard tray mounting, with added silicone rings on either side of the screw so that it has cushion between the PCB and the case

Whereas friction mount uses no screws and uses a gummy o ring that stretches around the entire PCB and friction fits into the case

Friction mount tends to give a more even and consistent sound across the board

Burger mount helps remove the dead sound spots near the screws

Friction mount also adds to the typing experience by being less stiff and more bouncy

Everyone gets too caught up in modding because of youtube videos, and you should figure out if you even care enough to do so by using the board when you get it. You may realize you like how it is stock, and not need to mod it

I have a Wooting 2 HE and i am very happy with it. But it could be quiter, since i am using it for office work a lot. I just saw that wooting offers differnt switches on the website:

1. i've read that the L45 is much quiter than L60. Can anyone confirm that? Does anyone Know about if its better or worse for typing?
2. In what cases / scenarios it would make sens to switch two the Gateron ? What are they good at? Do they also provided the analog switch / rapid trigger function of Lekker switches ?

The switches have the same functionality the only difference is the sound and the weight of the spring

The volume is about the same

To make it quite you would have to add more foam

They may release a silent he switch so I'd just wait for that

lekker itself is really silent and the best u can do is hand lube it

spring = reduce ping, top house to reduce bounce back sound, bottom housing to reduce bottom out sound, stem for smoother typing

But handlubing u gotta do urself and it takes a lot of time + if u wanna make it quieter

Id advise running mx keycap O ring

And a poron EVA pad for ur space bar and other keycaps that has a stabilizer to it

its not very much but compared to a standard gaming keyboard it makes a difference

Bottoming out or tactile bumps over a long day of use aggravates it. Weird thing where my white blood cells attack anything in my arms/forearms. Anything except clean water and light use causes severe fluid filled blisters to form across my entire hands. It took a while of testing but found out that speed silvers with ~1mm of actuation actually don't cause my fingertips to break out.
