You'll need to decide what profile keycap you're going for. Cherry is preference but very common. Most average gaming keyboards use something called OEM profile. For OEM profile keycaps I'd reccomend to go for Double Shot PBT keycaps, for cherry profile it depends where you're purchasing it from

The #a is the hardness level, the higher the number the harder it is. In normal gummy mount boards like the Bakeneko 60, this matter because everytime you type or press down on the board it should give you a bounce feedback like a gasket board.

But in terms of friction mounting it shouldn't matter at all. Gummy mount boards sit in their cases while the pcb has half circle cut outs for the oring to sit on the post of the case allowing it to bounce. Friction mounting however is when the module fits in the case with the oring surrounding it causing the module to not fall out. This doesn't work the same as gummy mount cause you dont get the gummy bounce benefits due to the pcb not having cutouts for the posts of the case.

So for your answer technically no, it really doesn't matter on what hardness you get.

people on the wooting servers are using the Geonworks. Some are modding them by replacing the switch with the default lekker stems to make franken switches. Though more people are using the Gateron Magnetic Jades instead.

I made a quick mockup in 3d paint, for my final decision when I bought my keycaps. I had like 5 different options and these mockups helped me make my decision. I'm not sure if the slight color difference of the case and keycaps looks good on your combination. Though Its not like I have a color accurate monitor.

oh also one more thing about jades and stabs, a very small amount of people have had an issue with jades where when they pressed directly on where the stab is on the spacebar, the other side of the keycap would pop off. theres a few ways to fix this and one of them is by getting long pole stabs, however personally I would just try them out then order stabs if you have issues.

I present to you Lekker T60 tactile prototype
KS-22 Brown housing, L60s stem and spring
Stem in KS-22 is narrower than L60s one (0.33mm vs 0.41mm) so I had to file the hole in the housing to make it bigger
Also I had to cut out the the bit which accommodates end of the stem for optical keyboards, file this sticking out bit on the side of the stem a bit, and bend metal tactile leaf a little
But in the end I really like how it turned out, tactile effect is a little bit more pronounced than in browns, but I believe that's because I bent tactile leaf too much
Oh, and I had to use a lot of lube

it's lacking prongs to do so, so the tactility must be weak as hell, even for browns
