Just as Simon said in the comment - power-cycling the keeb will recalibrate it to switches, it's not necessary to reset it

Also keep in mind, the board will always assume you have Lekkers installed. It doesn’t care if you put raptors or jades in or whatever. It assumes they are Lekkers.

Bottom out is 3.5mm instead of 4mm cause of closed bottom

So in the firmware if you want 3.5mm then set your actuation to 4mm

No, not unless you have issues with Jades and your current stabs

Typically happens on the edges on the spacebar if you do have issues, like if you press one side down for example and the other side pops up off the stab stem.

You know what the best thing is about HE switches? You dont have to worry about the damn pins bending.

You can put a small o-ring on the stem of the stabilizers to keep the spacebar from being able to push down too far and pop the other side off.

Have you by any chance tested out the DT 990 Pro? They were pretty uncomfortable. Their clamping force was the most noticable thing. I've tested out 3 pairs as well. Most higher end headphones seem to have really bad/cheap feeling build quality but better audio. From my experience even gaming headsets are overall more comfortable to wear, even the most low end gaming headsets

Yeah makes sense. In terms of audio quality they really don't sound much different. I own a quad cast and an Audio Technica AT2020 and had a Podmic. The differences are very minor, you'd have to really have trained ears to understand the difference between them all

I like how most XLR mics are quite noticeably more compact/smaller

My recommendation to you would be to reach out to wherever you ordered it from and let customer service know that it arrived this way. They may send you a partial refund or send you a replacement entirely. If it's KBDfans they are usually very helpful from past experience

Once you try to fix it, it's likely they won't send any replacement out to you since it's been messed with. Just a heads up

I tried both gummy and burger,

so burger mount or gummy mount are both great, but with the wooting all they are really doing is friction mounting because the pcb doesn't have any spots to make it gasket mounted, so it doesn't add flex like gummy mount was created to do, BUT what it does do is make the sound a little more consistant because try mounting can lead to "Dead spots" or spots with inconsistent sounds and it can add a little bit of "bounce" not flex

It’s a film to protect your keyboard’s PCBA from shorting on the case. This comes with most metal cases/keyboards. I would recommend using it if you don’t use anything else between the PCBA and case like foam for example.

The problem might be because since the tolerance between the stem aand housing is so tight, the stem pushes up the tape while you put them together which cause it to make a little bump

usually when you get this problem with the lekkers, it means you didnt place the tape flaat enough for you just made the stem lean more on one said than the other. but in this case, jades are just tight in both pieces so thats why it causes all this problem

Im using a wooting 60he in a Tofu 60 redux with the OG switch foam, KBDfans switch film, and KBDFans FR4 Plate. I am also using the upgraded L45 switches. Rapid trigger is unusable at 0.15 up to 0.4, because when im pressing down on a key and the key wiggles at all, rapid trigger picks it up as me beginning to release the key. I have ensured that all the standoffs are installed and the screws attaching to PCB to the plate are all tightened down pretty well. The space bar being an exception, because if I tighten that screw down all the way, it locks my stabilizer at the bottom. I keep that screw a bit loose.

when I had just the PCB + Switch Film + Plate I was able to use 0.15 without any problems. When I re added the switch foam (the stuff that goes in between all the keys), i wasn't able to use this sens anymore

Ur gonna end up warping or breaking something

the tofu came with a super thin layer of foam and thats all im using between the pcb and the case

How hard was it to put your board back together did you have to force it?

no forcing required

Im using a gummy O ring so i have to squish that into place but without that the board fits in real nice with plenty of extra room

it fixed my issue entirely. no doubt about it

i put it in restore mode and did a full restore through the troubleshooting settings

i can use rapid trigger at the lowest sens with 0 issues

or highest techincally? i mean 0.15
