then grabbed the module recently and got the L45s because they were like 18 bucks for 70 switches

after hand lubing and tape nodded my switches I just couldn't put myself through that again lmao

the tape modding took the life out of me

the geons just hand lubed destroy them sound wise imo

The dimensions of the stem and top housing is the main cause to the problem. The top housing for some reason is thin so there's enough room for the stem to wiggle around causing it to have problems like stem wobble and rattly hollow noise (chatter)

Raptor he switches almost fixed the problem although they made the stem a bit smaller (still has a little bit of chatter but much better than the lekkers) while having the top housing much thicker than the lekkers.
You may see people swapping the stems of the lekkers into the raptor's top and bottom housing,this increased the tolerance but the stem is too thick causing it to have tight tolerance problem.(you can feel the friction when pressing down this Frankenstein switch)

But like pochizo said, if you're wanting a mod that can fix this problem with the lekkers,you can do the switch tape mod which is in the #🪛│modding_faq it will lead you to the explanation and guide I made.

Well not all of the sets have legitimate PBT alternatives. It's usually only if the designer of the set allows it. However there is almost always cheap clones of every GMK set eventually
