we will make revision 2 on friday but I will probably have to bring this one with me to NL. top cover needs 2-3mm less width space and 0.1-0.2mm depth more as it's perfectly flush at the moment so wouldn't fit well with paint/anodisation

also stock/factory lube, no mods at all.

It’s really useful! The keyboard I have now has 4 space bars (which is a little excessive)
But for coding it’s nice to have one thumb be able to type spaces, and the other one can type hyphens and underscores

It's bothering me not knowing how the heck Wooting wired up their connector... I wonder if they just connected the shield ground and connector ground together at the USB-C socket? Then maybe they added a Y to the shield at the PCB side to ground the top metal plate and the JST? Seems like a weird way to do it.

I can confirm that shield ground seems to be connected to ground. I measured zero Ohm resistant between the shield to the common ground of the components.
I'm not an electrical engineer, I think I heard the best would be to separate these two on the device side and that these should be only connected on the host side.

generally yeah. The only real difference is the raptors are slightly more sensitive, so if you were at 0.1 on wooting you might be putting it to 0.3 on the raptor he to get the same actuation for example

I think the increase in magnet strength only affected the initial actuation pre travel, and the overall actuation is closer to the stated setting (0.1mm in the case of my RT profile). The reset point distance remains consistent as I have continuous RT switched on

So far our costs are higher for the full alu+brass but we can drop them down a bit for alu version by simplifying it. The adjustable feet won't be quite as smooth that way but it still works great.

Hi i bought a GH60 aluminum case. I had to punch a hole in the foam of the stock wooting case for the PCB to fit. Through that hole there is a small standoff where it passes. That standoff rests under the PCB. Will that damage the PCB? The keyboard is working fine as intended.

so far for the brass/alu version our cost is already in three figure range. so might end up looking at outsourcing it. if we had a bigger 5 axis it would be cheaper/less machine time. RIght now this needs 4 steps to machine, 2 sides and 2 angled sides via machining mounts

if we had to make as is and sell it would probably be retail ~300 range, extra for volume pcb/etc. we are looking at alu version without brass (except feet probably) to get that to 200 range which was original goal

play/pause/mute/volume function. Miiight be able to look at track skipping but it'll get clunky with one button interface
