Mechnical Keyboards have mounting styles, by default, the wooting is using a mounting style called tray mount which you screw the pcb into the case. So far we can make the wooting from tray mount to some few other mounts, most commonly burger mount. Burger mount uses small orings that goes in between the screw, pcb, and case. Another mounting style we can do for the wooting which is slowly getting popular for tray mount keebs are Gummy mounting/Friction Mount. We take a large O'ring that goes around the module (between plate and PCB) and insert it into the case without any screws but friction fitting it into the case, hence the name friction mount. You can also make your own custom plate and make different mounting style. For example, Frog mount and Gasket Mount.

offcourse for the best feel/sound it is still better to relube them yourself, but its not needed

When lubing switches do you apply it to the bottom housing, stem, and top housing? After watching numerous videos including the one by wooting it seems everyone has different methods. I understand it’s mostly personal preference. Just curious how you guys do it.

I've read some volunteer reviews from Geon's viewers and they all seem to agree that the Raptor's are quieter, and less wobbly. Performance is more or less the same but the RGB lights are not as bright. I'm more interested in the MX version, feels like unfinished business in a way even though it won't beat HE

You can't.

The keyboard will always assume you have lekker switches installed, and calibrate accordingly.

Basically it means the raptor switches will minus a lot of the buffer you have with default switches

so for example 0.1 actuation is rarely actually 0.1 and has a built in buffer. So most keyboard brands will say 0.1 but true measurement will be a bit more than that

so if you wanted to keep the same sensitivity when you swapped over to raptor he switches you'd have to raise the actuation a touch since the raptors will be more sensitive by default

You know I did purchase it thinking I'd want the Tofu Redux but then the typing angle may be too steep. Plus I get a discount when ordered together. I think I'll go with Alumaze case

Most of my setup is white, + I already had the keycaps so it was an easy decision for me

Yeah for sure. Most of my setup is blue so I'm trying to stay within that color scheme but I was thinking maybe even purple

Only downside is that they are fairly thin and not shine through but I think it would look good still

Yeah that's kind of a big deal to me on the thickness of caps. I've tried some low end caps that have shine through bleed and the feel isn't the same so something to keep in mind if you do go that route.
