I'm not sure if I understand your question. The PC plate sounds miles better than the stock steel plate. I used the foam pad that came with the PC plate and did not attempt reusing the original foam that came with the steel plate.

Burger mounts makes the keybord sbouncier when typing. But id say gummy oring mount is superior.

Tape mod makes the sound poppier, a little louder. Because sound bounces back from tape instead of just getting absorbed by foam. Is the general idea behind it.
