Looks like your question was answered but yeah you can probably still get away with gummy o-ring and the silicone pad but you might need a thinner diameter ring (maybe 50a-65a would work)

On the stream today I think they said they are also testing with no foam in between the PCB and plate and thought it made it sound deeper so that's always worth looking into.

someone before had an issue with tofu poron foam so then we suggested wooting foam, had a way nicer sound, depending on your preference

Gummy o'ring #a are hardness level. They vary on how bouncy you want your keyboard to be. The only affect on sound is distributing the sound profile evenly throughout the whole board. It doesn't change the sound profile at all.

The lower the number the bouncier

Ok keep in mind, you're doing tray mount -> gummy o'ring mount (using friction force) so it really doesn't give you full performance of "bounce" like keebs that were made for gummy o'ring
