I recommend you get the KS-20 switches, they’re also made by gateron but some people say they sound nicer than the lekkers, they’re available in orange (heavier spring) and white (lighter spring)

The ks-20’s bottom out further, which I don’t really know how they’re gonna work with the wooting’s pcb

To my knowledge the wooting recalibrates everytime it’s turned on, so I guess it’ll be fine

But I’m not sure, I’m still waiting on the module to drop

Switch pads arent recommended, but if you want them, thinner is better

It creates a false bottom for the switch. One example is you may press a switch fully and compress the pad and then without intending to, take enough pressure off the switch that the pad decompresses and the switch moves up and the keyboard thinks you intended the switch to move.

all i did was add new keycaps, 3 layers tape mod and jelly tape for my spacebar. comes with silicon pad, foam inbetween pcb and plate. factory lubed switches & stabs. from the sound test i can hear rattling but besides that im pretty happy with it @fluid ravine

I got my wooting uwu, and it's doing awesome so far, except there is one minor annoyance - even the L60 switches feel so light because the switches themselves have more mass (due to the magnet, no doubt). It seems counterintuitive, but I find that the inertia of the switch is acting against the spring by the time the switch is depressed enough to build any significant spring force. Has anyone figured out a way to mod the switches to accomodate a stronger spring?

I'm not an expert but the wooting ones appear to be durock stabs (likely same factory). I've probably owned over 40 sets of stabs and the wooting ones are on par with most of the best ones I've worked with.

Definitely wouldn't recommend adding more foam than is already inside. The PCB needs a bit of room to breathe or it could overheat.

The brass plate is pretty slim, wouldn't be easy to fill the slot with foam, it also gets rid of some hollowness sound in the case

Remember that less is more with mods. Good stabs don't need anything but lube, most mods are for fixes not improvements and a lot of mods arent applicable to every keyboard.

the grease/bdz is thicker so it stops the wire from rattling & it wont displace as easily since its thicker
